This thermostat is a great cheaper version of the original Nest. It has almost all the same features except some very minute ones. Definitely worth the price.

This is a cool item! It's easy to install and use. The thermometer can be done manually or it can be controlled by your phone. Sometimes you get a rebate for it too.

It has helped me to reduce my AC bill and facilitates turning it on and off from my phone. The schedule feature is so handy and I love that it detects when im home.

This thermostat was super easy to install and set up. And the remote app works well. We put one in our cabin where we are not full time residents to help keep our heating costs down, yet turn the heat on before we arrive so that it is warm and toasty when we get there.

This is my second one for another home. Very satisfied with the first so I bought a second one. Meets all of my needs and is simple to program.

I’ve had the nest about a month and really like it. Very user friendly and learned our schedule within a few days. Not sure yet about energy savings but hoping it helps.

One can’t go wrong with this product, manages the temperature and at the same time saves cost by recognizing your daily routine and adjusting the temperature accordingly.

Easy to set up. I like the green leaf that tells you your saving. Works good through my google home when i turn it down at night.

Once everything is connected and functioning, it works great. However, every spring and fall I have to re-connect and disconnect the AC unit due to it being an older house and having an older wire.

I have been watching the nest thermostats for a while. When Best Buy had them at this price I jumped on it and haven't been disappointed. The install was easy and so was setup.

Easy to use, had to get it professionally installed, did not want to mess with wires. You can set your perfect schedule right from the app on your phone.

Great thermostat. I have 2 of the more expensive learned Nest thermostats. The display on this one is not as bright. Other than that no complaints.

It is okay, but it keeps losing connection to my App. It seems when Google took over that I've had nothing but problems with it. I got it for remote access but more often than not it is not accessible. The setup is not easy. It often sets itself to entirely wrong settings (who wants the AC to be 50 degrees?). I've still not figured out what the green leaf on the display means. The wiring and initial setup was fine. It's just that the App loses it and wants to set up everything all over again which gets tiresome to say the least.

Save your time and money by checking your system first. I wasted mine and want others to benefit from this experience. I should have trusted my instincts. I already knew the wires were incompatible but I wanted to use the Nest thermostat so I called Nest customer service who then told me that a Nest Pro installer can rewire my system to make the thermostat work. Apparently the Nest Pro installer couldn't rewire my system because I have a communicating furnace that actually uses different wires to communicate with the entire system. So long story short, if you have DX+ and DX- wires, don't bother buying a Nest thermostat or having a Nest Pro installer come by because Nest will not work with your system.
