I had been looking into getting a smart thermostat for awhile now, but when the Nest Thermostat E came out I decided to take the plunge. So far it has been great. The installation was quick and easy and it has been doing a great job controlling my central air and heating unit. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality and affordable smart thermostat.

The online/supplied instructions were awesome. It was super easy to install. I like the fact that it seamlessly links to my alarm system. The scheduler is a little confusing. I think I’m slowly figuring it out though.

As easy to set up as advertised. Has been in now for a month and works flawlessly. Love being able to set from 2 hours away before we arrive!

Works like it says it should. I enjoy looking to see the temp when I'm away from the home. I just use the app on the phone and all it good.

Excellent product, great design and easy to program and install

First off this thermostat looks great on the wall. It was really easy to set up, but I am fairly handy. It connected quickly to my home system and was up and running in no time. It is still in the learning stages, but it is getting better and better. I love that I can adjust it from anywhere and set it to vacation mode. I highly recommend it!

Set up was a breeze, and now I can control my home temp from my phone, from my google mini, or do it the old fashion way. The component itself is made to last, even with its plastic design, but still I am content with how it looks and how it functions. Will definitely purchase more for additional homes.

This smart thermostat was a great addition to our tech home. Super easy to install and have set up in under 30 min. Look of it blends seamless into our hallway decor. Easy to run from the Nest app. With the rebate that Ameren offers for new smart thermostats this only cost me $50. Really cant go wrong to upgrade to a new smart thermostat.

Does what it is supposed to. Easy to use and install was simple. Display is a bit opaque during the day

Love the looks on my wall, actually like it better than the more expensive model. Remotely controlling the temperature upstairs from my sofa downstairs is priceless. Learning feature is also very good. Very happy. I think you should save money, buy this one instead the more expensive one since you really don't need the fancy features.

Does everything I ask of it. I love being able to control the temp from my phone. Great peace of mind with pets in the house as well.

I purchased this thermostat against the advice of my A/C specialist. He had experience with the older Nest models and said they were too complex and not as reliable as the Honeywell or others on the market. He installed this new one and really liked it. He said the set up was simpler and so far the integration with my Echo is awesome! I am loving this unit. It is really a great addition to my smart home evolution.

Great thermostat easy to install works great looks very nice

Great when it works. Setup is very easy and intuitive and works well with 2.4 and 5Ghz combined networks, which some other brands do not. Main reason I mark this review so low is that it broke after 9 months of usage and not only did it break but it broke stuck on. The heat woke us up in the middle of the night and we had to disconnect it from the wall. Beyond that its wifi chip was fried so we had to order a replacement through google's warranty. They said it would arrive in 2 days. Wells its been a week and they do not have any update for me beyond that I need to wait another 2 days for them to figure it out. I am without heat now and it has been freezing at night where I live. Little heaters are only able to help so much. Google's online chat reps kept passing me around from team to team and back to the first team and no one knows how to figure it out.

Asdically pleasing to the eye. Works just like the original. Current rebate program through electric and gas company brought the cost down to $50. A great buy.

I purchased the Nest E thermostat for two reason. One, it's the cheapest and works with my system. Two, it easily blends in to the wall without standing out and shouting look at me. Works like all reliable Nest products and it's very user friendly and smart home adaptable to many different smart home hubs and control systems.
