Lags too much to be useful.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely awful product. It lags so far behind the actual room temperature that it will get unbearably and dangerously hot. We set our nest to keep our baby's nursery at 71 degrees. There is also a nanit and an additional analog thermoetat in there so that we could troubleshoot. The room will get to 78 degrees before this temperature sensor registers the room is above 71 and should turn the heat off. Since we have radiators that stay war, the room then continues to get even hotter until the radiators cool down. It got up to 80 degrees. The nanit and analog thermostat register in real time. This takes forever. Even if you put it directly next to your nest thermostat it will always lag by 30+ minutes. Absolutely terrible system. I will be throwing away my 700+ dollars worth of nest thermostats and sensors and buying something that isn't garbage.

Meh....its okay
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont think it really worked right. I had the settings selected to adjust our AC based on this unit, but it didn't seem to adjust correctly. Also, you cant program specific hours to have the Nest use this sensor, there are preset hours (which, for me, are to long).

It does it's job but it's overpriced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike the Nest thermostat, it doesn't measure humidity in the room. It measures the temperature and you could switch your thermostat to follow it's temperature rather than where the thermostat is, but I feel it's too expensive for being a simple temperature sensor.

Complete trash. Stays connected for a couple days.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I worked with this for weeks, following all troubleshooting guides...and it's trash. I have a Google Wifi so there is literally no excuse for it to not work properly. It never stays connected to the thermostat or the internet. I went through 2 sets of these thinking that it was just a small issue...nope. Same problem. And to boot, Best Buy's return policy during this pandemic has been garbage as well. Printed everything out. Brought product back to the "line" as instructed. Handed everything over and was told "No Problem"....nope. One month later, still no return of credit.

Mixed feelings
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super excited when I first purchased this. But as time went by, I was having a hard time seeing the worth in this product. It's really just a temperature gauge and if you don't have central air (both heat and AC) it's really not worth the money.
