I wanted to be able to control the temperature in my sons room, but if I were to have nest in his room , I would end up either freezing or burning up in my room.

The thermostats are labeled Google/Nest. This device is labled under the Google/Nest brand but doesn’t work with the lower end Google Nest thermostat. I have to upgrade to the stainless steel version in order for this work. Buyer beware.

My nest thermostat is on the first level. The purpose in buying this sensor was to get my bedroom a more comfortable temperature during the night since the upstairs of my house is always warmer. Well the sensor was actually showing a LOWER temperature than my thermostat downstairs which always feels noticeably cooler. This made no sense to me at all so either the sensor is wrong or the nest is wrong but they both can't possibly be correct. I've just had to adjust my thermostat accordingly with the sensor readings. So basically I paid 40 bucks to find out that one of my nest devices is way off.

I bought a "Nest Thermostat". These are literally the words on the front of each box and they don't work together. And since I didn't install the temperature sensor right away to find this out I'm outside the return window. Infuriating.
