||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After finally opening our house warming gift, we installed the sensors with our already, professionally installed Nest Thermostat. 2 weeks from installation, the air conditioning was not working properly; pushing out warm air. Had the install come back and check the unit and thermostat and he confirmed the sensors are throwing off the thermostat with inaccurate readings. The sensors were installed in the suggested locations. Upon trying to return, Best Buy would not let me return or even receive store credit for what I believe is a faulty product. Very disappointed!

Posted .We're sorry to hear about these issues you've experienced with your Nest Temperature Sensor. Once you've set up the temperature sensor to your Nest, you can select the sensor as the primary temperature to adhere to and this should allow you to properly cool your office. If it still feels warmer in there then you may want to try moving the sensor itself to a different place in the office that might be warmer then other areas.

Using the Nest Temperature Sensor, please make sure to install it within a maximum of 50 feet (15 m) of your thermostat, so the sensor and thermostat can communicate wirelessly. You may need to place them closer together because the wireless range can be reduced by walls, floors, appliances, furniture and other electronics.

Don’t waste your money

I wish I got the more expensive model, as it’s not very clear that the temperature sensors do not work with this model. I’m past the return period and now stuck with it.

Do not buy the sensor. There is no Nest Support.

There is no customer support for Nest products I will never buy them again.

I would recommend this to a friend+/- 1 degree temperature, never what you set!

It's digital not analog! Always cools 1 degree more and does not kick in till its 1 degree hotter than you like to start cooling. You set 76F, it will cool down to 75F. It will not start cooling again till its 77F. I guess its trying to be economical at the cost of you being uncomfortable. Ecobee will keep you more comfortable!
