My bedroom is always difficult to control the temperature at night, since it's above the garage and always cooler in the winter that the thermostat, but varies depending on the outside temp. You can set a schedule for which times the system looks at which sensor, but a few things to keep in mind: 1) you can only have it look at one sensor at a time. You can't have it monitor multiple rooms to keep temps in a range. It's not that smart. 2) the schedule times are set, and you can't change the start and end times. For example, you have: Morning 7am to 11 am, midday 11am to 4pm, evening 4pm to 9pm, and night 9pm to 7am. Those times where it automatically changes which sensor are set, but at any time, you can manually switch it on the app or the thermostat. It's battery operated and small and can sit in a horizontal surface or mount to a vertical surface with included hardware. I don't know how long the battery work last, and I don't know what kind it is. I'll have to look it up when it's time to change it.

These sensors are perfect for homes that have older cooling and heating systems. My home has an older radiator system with only one large zone and the control unit on the first floor. This leads to an issue where adjusting the temperature to be comfortable in certain rooms difficult or impossible. This unit solves this issue in a easy straightforward way.

I like knowing what the temperature is in every room. At night I can set the temperature to my bedroom, and keep it at the ideal temp for sleeping. The only drawback is that when the battery needs to be changed in a sensor, the thermostat has to be rebooted before that sensor can reconnect. This information is nowhere in any of the instructions for the Nest thermostat. I had to find it in a web forum.

This is a great (and almost necessary) addition to the Nest thermostat. Adding the temp sensor has helped to better maintain the overall temperature throughout our house. We didn’t mount it, so it can be moved from room to room as conditions change. Single vs three pack may be dependent upon the size of your house/business.

We have 2 thermostats and both are in hallways. Our bedrooms, especially the master bedroom, would always be freezing cold or insanely hot because of this. We put sensors in our bedroom and the living room, and it really has seemed to regulate the temperature. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend.

These are a great addition to the Nest thermostat. Our thermostat is In a hallway that is isolated from living areas. I placed one in the family room, one in the kitchen and another in the master bedroom. I have schedules set up to maintain temps like we want them.

I bought the three pack because it is a better value. I have only used one in mt daughters room , because it was colder in there then the rest of the house. After setting it up I was able to set the thermostat setting to go by the temp in her room and not the hallway. It works great. You can switch between sensors at different times of the day.

Very easy to install, helps regulate temperature in different rooms of the house based on when you spend your time the most.

Now I can track the temperatures in different rooms and also set the temperature according to any room with one of these sensors. Wish the range was a little better but for a small device like this, can’t complain.

These sensors are a great add on for the Nest system. I recently had a child and it’s an awesome accessory when trying to maintain a certain temperature throughout the house. I didn’t give a 5 star rating because I feel that nest should have came out with an update to have the sensors on a schedule as well to where you can have the temp change from one room to another by just assigning it ahead of time. In addition i would hope that nest supports Apple home kit.

On its own it doesn't do much besides tell the temperature but with a little clever schedule settings can be manipulated by room. These are only needed for rooms that you are often in but the thermostat isn't. The three pack is definitely worth it just to know what the temperature is in the rest of the house.

The NEST products are far superior to any other SMART Home management system. This NEST temperature sensor was easy to install and worked right out of the box.- In fact, it was easier than any of the other NEST products I have used. And it is a WONDERFUL assist to getting the rooms we want cooled when we want it. I am glad I brought this product.

Was very easy to set up. Only dofficult part was to figure out which wire gies where. Works very well. Alerts when furnace thrns off so you can change filter.

Great addition to the Google Nest Thermostat! Allows to use the temperature in different areas of the house as the place to go by when keeping the temperature comfortable, depending on where we are located in the house.

I have one n my bedroom one In my dining room and one of my garage. I can look and see the temp in a those three rooms whenever I want and I could just set that room to be with the thermostat goes off of. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get certain rooms in their house warmer or colder.

It’s nice because my living room thermostat is always reading hotter than it actually is because of everything that’s going on in the living room. Now it’s the sensor I have it in my bedroom and it reads at room temperature which is correct. I absolutely recommend this to anybody who has a nest thermostat with multiple rooms

I REALLY LIKE THE TEMP SENSORS. MY ROOM WOULD ALWAYS BE ALITTLE BIT MORE WARMER THAN THE LIVING ROOM AND NOW WITH THIS SENSOR I CAN CHANGE IT TO GO OFF MY ROOM TEMP INSTEAD OF THE LIVING ROOM WHICH NOW MY AC STAYS ON A LITTLE LONGER TO COOL DOWN MY ROOM. LOVE IT.

Great idea to monitor entire house. Makes it very easy to adjust your comfort based on what part of the house your in. They can be placed anywhere and have been extremely reliable. Best purchase I ever made.
