We have one of these in our office and master bedroom. I like having a custom temperature for one room at night. We can sleep with the door closed knowing only the bedroom is being used to gauge the temp. No more hot or cold nights.

My bedroom always seemed strangely warmer than the rest of the first floor. With this I can tell Nest to make my bedroom comfortable at night (where we are sleeping) rather than the rest of the house. I know other thermostats include these and I wish that were the case with Nest, but at least they aren’t incredibly expensive.

We had an issue where our Nest was in a room that got a lot of direct sunlight on the first floor and it would cause our ac/heat to shut off, making upstairs uncomfortable if we were there at night. This gadget allows you to heat to a specific room and we know are cozy upstairs regardless of the downstairs temp.

CONS: None. Maybe a better suggestion as to where to place in the household? PROS: Goes perfectly with Nest Thermostat. Helps keep the specific areas in the home at your preferred temperature.

Easy to use, very informative, and easy to install.

We put this Nest temperature sensor in our son's room as his room is the first room on the upstairs HVAC room and ends up cold in the summer and hot in the winter. This allows us to set his room temperature sensor as the main sensor during certain times of the day to help keep his room more comfortable. It was super easy to set up and I have had no issues with connectivity or anything. It's cheap and works well!

This solved the biggest issue we had in our home with our heating and cooling. Our thermostat is in an area where there is no vent and a big glass window. This always lead to it being too hot or too cool all the time. Now I have it when we can make sure the temperature is appropriate and check on all our rooms. Love this.

My old thermostat was mounted downstairs by the front door, and that is where my Nest ended up. Unfortunately, this leads to uneven heating and cooling upstairs. I picked up this little guy, place him in the bedroom, and the Nest was able to update it's program to better balance the HVAC. Well worth the cost.

Great addition to the Nest system. We put the additional sensor in our bedroom to make sure the temperature stays comfortable overnight, even when the main thermostat is located in a different room. Works like a charm.

no more moaning one room is always cooler, you cant set the room to be a specific temperature. handy if the kitchen is always cooler than the living room. Sensors can be allocated to the following time slots Morning 7:00 - 11:00 Midday 11:00 - 16:00 Evening 16:00 - 21:00 Night 21:00 - 07:00

Placed this in my upstairs bedroom that was always hotter than the rest of the house. With the Nest sensor I can set the temp for that room while I am using it. Also I can set a schedule to use this sensor at certain times of the day over the main Nest thermostat. Love this product. Need another for my office

Love this thermostat! We have a house out of state and it’s such a great way to control the temperature! The house is in the desert so inside could be an issue. With this thermostat we can monitor the temperature and make sure it’s not getting too hot.

I am already in love with this thing.. its been a much warmer summer here and having bedrooms upstairs, they tend to get hot. Being able to set the house to cool until the rooms reach a temp instead of the downstairs thermostat is a game changer

My bedroom is upstairs and the thermostat is downstairs. Of course it gets warmer upstairs than downstairs so if I set my Nest to 70 degrees downstairs it'll still be 74+ degrees in my bedroom. Now at night I have it set the temp according to the sensor in my bedroom. So helpful!

The Nest Thermostat Sensor works well in that it reads the warmer portion of the house. The thermostat stays on to cool the kitchen area in the daytime and converts to the on board sensor at night time to keep the bedrooms cool, I would recommend this as an addition to anyone with a large house.

A little troublesome to set up, but after that there have been no problems. It allows 4 different blocks of time to be set to run off of one of the sensors or thermostat, but does not allow you to make a custom schedule. You are stuck with 7-11am, 11am-4pm, 4-9pm, and 9pm-7am. It is nice to control off a different sensor though, especially since I have one room that runs hotter/colder depending on the season.

Easy to setup and very accurate Synced with Nest easily

I got one before for my basement to monitor the temperature. My wife was saying it seemed like our bedroom was always hotter than the rest of the house so I got a second to see in which case she was right and now she checks it every other day and is happy knowing the temperatures throughout the house
