Connected to my Nest, placed in my warm master bedroom which after installing, finally let know that room stays 3-4 degrees hotter. So glad got this, now whole house is at temp and my room is consistent to where i want my setting. **Can set when to use which thermostat, main or the sensor at certain time periods.

Perfect add on to the Nest thermostat. Allows you to monitor other rooms in house and make adjustments on a per room target.

Works great in conjunction with the Nest Thermostat, thermostat in game room this device in the master room and could switch between devices to make places comfortable, adding more in each room would be better to know their temperature and adjust accordingly.

Our home has a few rooms that get significantly colder in the winter. This is an easy way to monitor that. When away, I set the thermostat to listen to the sensor in the room that's typically the coldest, ensuring the coldest room is being heated properly (reduces freezing risk in my basement essentially)

I bought two of the sensors to go into our spare rooms. We live in an extremely cold climate and I wanted to be able to be alerted if a room in my house dropped below 40 degrees fahrenheit so I can address the issue before it becomes an expensive disaster. I have a Nest learning thermostat and 3 Google Nest thermostats. These sensors only work with the Nest learning thermostat on the Nest app. I use Alexa for all of my home automation, and these sensors do not work with Alexa, even though the Nest learning thermostat does. It’s very frustrating. I can still use the Nest app to see the temperature in each room, so it’s not a complete loss. I would just caution people who use other home automation apps then the Nest app. I am considering buying another brand of temperature sensor and seeing if I can get the result I wanted. The nest itself was always giving us one temperature and we felt the house was at a different temperature, and now we can check that for sure and adjust the temp accordingly. It works really well. You can always tell what temperature it is in each individual room

Our master bedroom felt too warm to sleep and used wake up in the middle of the night.. after getting this and set this as the primary for the night the problem went away

I got the sensor and it works great in the bedroom. There is a couple degree's difference in the rooms. I think it great you can put this sensor in a room any room and get the actual temperature. You could mount it permanently or just set it in a room to see if a cool or hot spot in your house.

We had inconsistent heat and cool in certain rooms in our home, specifically our infants room. Placing the sensor in the baby’s room allowed us to keep that room at temperatures of our desire, not subject to the main thermostat location. Great alternative to full rezoning and equipment replacement.

Love all my nest products! We have the sensor in our upstairs bedroom to see the difference in temperature from the main floor to our upper floor. Design of product is nice, it's small and not super noticeable, I often forget it's there.

Scan the code and it syncs right up to your neat program. Little smaller than you think they are, bout the size of a couple nickels. Stick it on a wall or move wherever easily. Easily set the nest to run so whichever room you want will cool/heat to the set temp.

Definitely does what it says - our thermostat is located in a dumb location.....a narrow hallway that is ALWAYS warm, so we have rooms that are always cold. We put this in one of those cold rooms and our Nest Thermostat is warming the floor based on the sensor and not the always warm hallway.

I purchased this sensor with my Nest thermostat. If you have multiple levels in your home these are perfect to help keep those other levels at a comfortable temperature. I love it because our upstairs tend to be warmer and our thermostat is not on that level. So this a great addition to forbour home.

Extremely easy to set up and connect to main Nest unit. Records temperature in remote location. Nest app allows you to make sensor the primary temperature sensor so that heating/cooling is controlled by the location of the remote sensor rather than the main unit. Does not monitor humidity or movement like main sensor does.

This is really helped Even out the temperature fluctuations in my home. My bedroom was staying colder in the winter and hotter in the summer, and the sensor helps even everything out. Would definitely recommend for homes with the nest thermostat.

No kidding these have cut down my electric bill by 20% I have it controlled for our sons room, when the Temp reaches 74 in his room it stops instead of it trying to cool the entire house. Saw a drastic change in my bill and how comfortable it has been at night now!

There's always an issue when a thermostat is in a different room or affected by the sun hitting it. With this item, you have it in the same room you're in and it controls the thermostat based on the temperature of the room you're in vs. the room the thermostat is in.

If your room is much hotter than the rest of the house on certain times or the day, i would get this. The nest can be set up to monitor and follow the room temperature through this sensor at certain time periods of the day.

The sensor works as intended and is within 1 degree F compared to desktop thermometers. But the price is really high for this one function. I don't really have another choice since I've been using the Nest thermostat, but Ecobee might be a better choice considering overall cost if I could choose again.

It allows you to track the temperature in multiple rooms. This was nice for keeping our kids bedroom at the perfect temperature. My only complaint is that the firmware on the Nest thermostat is very limiting only allowing you to track one room at a time, and only at certain times of day. It would be nice, if it could average the rooms, or turn on the fans if they are too far apart.
