I cant belive how useful this little thing is when hooked up to my thermostat. I have the room set to the desired temperature.

I bought two. They tell me temperature in my daughters’ rooms, and I can control the Nest thermostat to prioritize one room or the other based on the time of day. It’s great for making whoever is napping has the right temperature.

Before adding the sensor to my smart home, the master bedroom was almost unusable. The temperature was always at least 10 degrees warmer than where the Nest thermostat was located. The difference with the added sensor was immediate, and the house is much more comfortable in every room.

Simple to set up. I put this in the bedroom and set the house to adjust based on the bedroom temp at night to stay cool

The temperature sensor is a great addition to the overall nest system. It helps keep the house at a manageable temperature throughout when we have different floors that can vary vastly in temperature. What it does NOT do yet is able to use more than one sensor at a time, which would be great to say cool this sensor to this level until this other sensor is passed the other level.

As an add-on to our thermostat, this has finally allowed us to block registers in the right locations to understand where to set the thermostat for comfort throughout the house. I expect energy savings to accompany this knowledge. Thank you.

Really helps to make the nest learning thermostat more helpful. Placed upstairs (thermostat is on the first floor) to make sure the upstairs is the perfect temperature for sleeping. For most homes I think 1-2 sensors would be plenty.

Very helpful sensor to check temperature in multiple rooms in your home. So if your hallway is cold but your bedroom isn't, you can tell the nest to go based on the bedroom. Great and simple! And if your walls are white, unnoticeable :)

Improves the use of the NEST thermostat, so you can focus on just one room, rather than trying to heat the hallway or wherever your thermostat is located at. It needs improvements regarding programmability but it gets the job done

Adding this to the house has improved our comfort at night. Bedroom is on the top floor and always got warm at night even though the living room was at the set temperature. Now I can set the thermostat to keep the bedroom the desired temperature at night which is a great improvement.

This temp monitor does exactly what it advertises to do, which is send a reliable temp signal to the home nest unit for a separate room. It really helps to keep your system on or off, depending on the temperature you want in a room other than where your Nest unit is.

We bought this to go with the nest because we noticed one room was always hotter than the others and it was the master bedroom. We were able to use this device and set our house temperature to the reading in that room. To balance the other rooms we closed some of the vents.

I like that i can adjust the heat to accommodate the colder rooms in the back of the house. Very helpeful.

Overall very cool to be able able to monitor temps in different rooms of the house. Easy to set up and view on the app. Challenge is that if your trying to get the coldest/hottest room to a certain temp the rest of the house is going to be a lot colder/hotter to compensate.

Helps balance temperatures across various rooms with help from nest thermostat. No longer have to rely on temperature near nest thermostat installation. Easy to configure in neat app to use the sensors for temperature sensing.

I like knowing the temperature upstairs. This helps keep the air and heat the same temperature upstairs and down stairs.

Purchased this to try and help my Nest Thermostat be a bit more stable. I placed it in the down stairs office, and had to move it directly underneath the stat for it to get a strong enough signal. It connects to your thermostat from what I understand, not your mesh network. It runs off a small battery that is supposed to last 2 years, so no power outlet needed.

This thing solved our problem. The thermostat is in the livingroom and the temperature in the master bedroom would be too warm. I installed it in the nest app and immediately discovered that the temperature was 6 degrees warmer in the Bedroom. Problem solved.

I've installed two of the three sensors and they do exactly what they're supposed to do. This is great for our two story where the downstairs thermostat is near a vaulted ceiling and the sensor is in the living room where the temperature is more accurately reflected.

Bought these because my Nest thermostats are located in closets and the temperature in my kids room’s was usually a few degrees warmer. Now I can program the Nest to control temperature in the kid’s room and everyone is happy.
