My wife and I purchased this for our sons room since it always seem to be colder then the rest of the house. The setup was super simple. I definitely recommend this product if your having heating or cooling issues in certain parts of your house!

It came as a free addition for our Nest thermostat. I am glad it did because it makes it so much easier to cool the house based on our bedroom. Before this, it used to be freezing in the living room and our room would barely be getting cool.

Great addition to our Nest thermostat. Makes the system more flexible allowing us to change the system initiator to the area we are in vs the main system control which can warm up more easily than some of our outer rooms

I have placed this in the second bedroom to monitor the temperature. Now i can set my Nest to set the temperature based on two locations. I can't have a function to match both though. One room will have different temp than the other room, so ymmv.

These little sensors will take your thermostat to the next level. I love being able to see the temperature difference in each room and picking which one I want the HVAC to concentrate on. Amazing purchase for such an item you wouldn't normally consider.

Purchased this new sensor after having to replace my gen 2 nest(that I somehow shorted out the heater circuit on). I put it upstairs to try and even out the temperature differences day or night. It seems to work, time will tell.

Great Addition to Nest Learning Thermastat. This was a perfect purchase for my baby’s nursery. It allows me to check the temperature of his room regularly and adjust as needed. The price was also minimal.

Do you have a basement or split level house like me? If so these sensors are invaluable. They really help to keep the different levels comfortable in my house being that the thermostat is all the way in the basement.

I have been a fan of the Nest thermostat since the first generation. However, I live in a 3/2 condo and it gets relatively warmer in the master suite at night since the thermostat is at the far end of the living area. I hung this right by my bed and now I sleep comfortably.

The top floor of my house is significant colder than the floor where the thermostat is. I love that you can monitor the temperature in two different zones and adjust as needed.

Nice addition for houses that have two levels. It does help with regulating the temperature at night. It was getting really hot upstairs while sleeping but this helps even out the temperature

Works as intended. It allows me to control better what room I would like to have set at a specific temperature at any one tine.

we had hot/cold zones in our house and this is simple way to get details on temperatures in different rooms and come up with the best settings for the whole apartment. Simply hang in on the wall, connect it and your good to go.

Absolutely love it!! I work nights and our bedroom is upstairs and gets full sun, so it’s warmer than the rest of house. This allows me to set it to bedroom temperature while I sleep. Has really helped me sleep better.

Using these to help us fine-tune the temperature in our house based on time of day. There are slight variations among the many rooms, and with only two thermostats, it was not easy to balance the differences. These help by allowing us to decide which sensor should be used for setting heating or cooling.

Wanted more accurate reading in an upstairs bedroom, this does the job! Can easily switch to use the sensor during nighttime as intended. One drawback: No support within Google Home. I was hoping to be able to ask Google what the temp is in the bedroom. Though I'm confident Google will eventually add this support.

Just picked this up to deal with a temperature difference in the master bedroom. This little gadget lets you schedule which temperature to use and when allowing us to use the primary unit for the day and the add on thermostat at night when we want the bedroom cool. PERFECT!

We have Nest Thermostats in all three levels of our home. They work great in the rooms where the Thermostats are located, these remote detectors now expand to allow control from other rooms. You can control temperature based on schedules, activities or manually.

We can all agree that the best should come with these. It’s a shame that it doesn’t but if you feel the best is a better thermostat (and I still do)... it ultimately makes the best better still and that is money well spent in my eyes.

I love this little thing! Our thermostat is in the worst place in the house and never keeps all of our rooms comfortable. Now we can set a schedule and use these to set which room we want it to pay attention to, making the whole house comfortable when we need it!
