The Nest Temperature Sensor adds additional temp flexibility and settings. We have a several of these around the house which help us balance temps. It also helped us balance air flow.

Works well and did the job this summer to cool the house at night based on our upstairs temperature. I was hoping the app would let you use multiple sensors at once but you can only use a single sensor at a time to base your thermostat temperature so I would have been fine with just a single remote sensor.

Your thermostat is usually not in the right place to keep you comfortable in the room you are in most. This sensor fixes that problem. It has your Nest Thermostat read the temperature in the desired room instead of your hallway.

This was great addition to my Nest thermostat. Since the location of my thermostat was too close to the return air I was never getting an accurate temperature set on my device. Adding this sensor fixed the problem as expected.

This is a great way to control the temperature of our upstairs at night and have the thermostat set to the main floor the rest of the day. Well worth the money.

Great device. The sensor works as it should and it’s Great to know what the other bedroom temperature is like during a 24hr period.

The Nest app isn't smart with sensors. All you can do is set the current sensor you want to act as the main one for the system, so if I say "Okay Google what's the temperature inside?" It'll only tell me the temperature of whatever sensor I selected last in the app - to change it you must physically go back into the app. Unlike other smart thermostat you can't set the system to balance or average the temperature between sensors, nor can the sensors detect when people are in a room to heat if up like the ecobee. This just acts as a wireless thermometer for your thermostats base. It provides no extra smart functions. It can't detect when you enter the room like competitor's sensors can. It can't detect humidity or any other bonus feature. Lastly, It costs ridiculously way too much knowing all that.

Performs exactly as expected and described. Works very well with the Nest thermostat to help us balance out temperatures between upstairs and downstairs

Really great addition to the Google Nest. Especially if you have an older home or a small child that needs a warmer room. Easily syncs with the Nest and allows easy control throughout the day to go off of the Sensor or the main thermostat. The only drawback is it doesnt update temperatures very fast. Takes a couple minutes to fully read the room. Which in my opinion is a good thing, so it doesnt freak out to just a gust of wind or fan on. But others might worry, especially when testing it and you place inside a fridge and temps dont instantly go down like a meat thermometer would.

Great to set in multiple rooms and see the temps, or to have the nest thermostat to us that sensor and cool the room to what you want.

These are easy to set up with the correct thermostat. Great way to truly control your home heating and cooling room by room.

Purchased these Temperature Sensors to place throughout the house to help balance the temperatures using the Nest Thermostat. Very easy to install and setup with Nest. Temperature reporting seems to be accurate.

Helps keep track of temperatures not close to the main thermostat. I have this one upstairs so that during the night, the temperature adjusts accordingly while we sleep.

Works as advertised and doesn't loose connection even in a different room in my condo from the thermostate. Works good with the app too.

This small device really helps to regulate the air temperature in my home. Not only has it paid for itself over, it's easy to setup. If you have a large or small dwelling, I do recommend this!

I purchased these so I could check specific rooms that my pets might be lock in during a hot day. Makes it so easy to bump up the air or heat if I notice a room getting too warm etc. I couldn't be happier.

I like this sensor as I can place it any where in the house and I can control the temperature of the place where ever I keep this venture and even move it around with out any difficulty so nice nice and handy

We placed this in my son's room as his room is the hottest and it works perfectly. As soon as his room get's too hot, Nest recognizes it and starts to cool the house down. Perfect companion to Nest Thermostat

This sensor is a great addition to your Nest Learning Thermostat and works perfectly if you like to have temperatures in 2 different Areas.
