Will this let your Nest thermostat cool your house based on where this sensor is? Yes. And it does a good job of that. Can you set schedules that alternate between the temp of this sensor and the temp at your thermostat? Yes...with restrictions. You can only do that in pre-determined time slots provided by Google in the Nest app. You can't create a custom schedule based on times that you set yourself, which is a shame. Does this sensor track humidity? Unfortunately, no. I'd buy it again, because I wanted it only for the temperature tracking and not for any advanced features. But if those things interest you, you might be disappointed. Another brand (has bee in the name, hint hint) supports the features this sensor doesn't.

These sensors work great, they give accurate temps around the house away from the main thermostat. This gives me another way to make sure all the areas of my house are at the temp that I want them to be.

Having a 2 story house and only one heating and air conditioning unit the sensor can be set to keep whichever room I place it in warm or cool. This has been a great addition to my Nest thermostat.

I use this to monitor the temperature in my basement while work is being done on my house. Allows me to adjust the temp up and down as needed from a distance (or from bed!!) using my android phone.

This has worked great in our home. It’s in another area that gets colder and we can adjust to that room. Glad this exists and looking into more nest products.

I had one bedroom on the north side of my house that was always a few degrees colder than the other rooms. With this little puck, I can have my thermostat keep that bedroom at a decent temperature.

Excellent for getting the temperature dialed in. I have a room that is much colder than the rest of the house. This sensor allows Nest to get a more accurate read .

I’ve had this for 3 months now and I’m really enjoying the ability to to control my heating/cooling unit based off the room I’m in. Nice climate control, works perfectly and a great edition to our Nest.

This is a great concept, my only issue with it is the connectivity between the nest and the sensor doesn’t actively read, so sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. But it’s probably where I have everything at, unfortunately I cannot change where they are located.

Nice to be able to see temps all over my home. Highly recommended

We installed this in our child’s room so that when he naps in the afternoon his room will be cool. It helps so you can regulate which room you want the AC or heater to go off of for temperature control.

Different temperatures in the house can be controlled by making your AC unit work to cool the house around the temperature of a certain room! Great for prioritizing a room in the house

These sensors has great range and a good addition to your smart home. Gives you good control of the template throughout the house. Works great in my two story home.

I have been using this Temperature Sensor for a week and it is working well for me. I can check my room's temperature using Nest app. I liked it so I orders 3 more Temperature Sensors for other bedrooms.

Some rooms in my house vary temperature. So I use this to cool or heat one room, than just at the thermostat. Especially because I only have one system for a 2 story house.

Great add on to the nest thermostat if you have a big house but only one ac unit. I really like how I can set time frames for certain zones to be the PRIMARY zone for the house's temperature.

This sensor is just the ticket if you have a part of your home that is always too hot or too cold. You can tell your Nest Thermostat to use the temperature at the sensor for heating and cooling.

For some reason my sons room was always cold. We bought this to help regulate the temperature in the house. It was the best decision. It has done wonders.

Excellent sensors. Makes it very easy to monitor the temp
