I love nest products and have them all over my house. This sensor works very well for rooms that are much cooler/hotter than the rest of the house.

I didn’t even know this existed until recently. I had to put this in my bedroom because we have a window with causing a draft. Keep in mind if you set the thermostat to a specific temp according to this sensor then your main thermostat will stay on until your room reaches the sensors desired setting. So if I want my temp to 72 in my bedroom where my sensor is at then the rest of the house might increase to 76 because it’ll stay on until my bed reaches 72

Desired to have temperature readings from more rooms in my house after upgrading to 3rd gen. Nest. Ease to add to the system.

This is my second unit that I purchased one for my office and this one for the baby room. It keeps the room at the right temperature for a little one.

This has been a great little product for our nursery. It was easy to set up and makes keeping the temperature in our baby's bedroom simple.

Device is very easy to install and configure. Does everything it's supposed to.

Thought that we could get away without using one of these in our new house but it’s a definite yes with the thermostat!

For me the ability to have Your thermostat monitor and adjust to another room than where the thermostat is hanging is great.

As the summary says, I'm just not sure about this item and if most people would really need one. To place one in another room and set your system to heat or cool to that room is really no different than using the main thermostat to heat up or cool that same room. I suppose if you absolutely need to know the exact temperature in a specific room, it's fine. Otherwise, I suggest you read what it can do and then decide for yourself if you want to spend the money. I had extra money on a gift card so bought one and set it up but it really goes both unused and unnoticed.

Useful accessory. Based on the room where you are, you can control the temperature in the room using this product.

Use in conjunction with our nest thermostat. Sets in our bedroom to keep it at the right temperature at night. Pretty cool idea.

This is something I've wanted for a long time. You can set the thermostat to adjust from the sensor you prefer to maintain that temp. Works excellent.

Works well with Google Nest. Pop it in any room and now I can set the thermostat to match the temp in that room.

This was the perfect companion to the Nest thermostat. It helped regulate a room where the temperature gets hot or cold.

The sensors work well, but they sometimes take a little too long to adjust to the new temperature. We have a temperature readout in my son's room as well as the Nest sensor and the other readout reacts faster to the changing temp. Sometimes we'll see that the readout shows a few degrees different than the Nest (cooler when AC is on, warmer when heat is on) and it feels like if the Nest reacted faster it would limit potential overruns on usage. But we really like being able to see different rooms and know if we need to open/close vents to help different spots get comfortable.

Glad Nest introduced these sensors a year or two back. Easy to set up and use. No issues with them. Set up and forget type of product.

Needed a sensor in the bedroom as it's quite a bit cooler in there. Sensor has been solid and very easy set up

Got this when we purchased a learning thermostat. Nice to have a second temp region in a home that has a 3000 sqft main floor.
