We added this to our upstairs with the nest thermostat downstairs. We can now view the temp difference. We can also set the temp where we want it for upstairs only if we choose. Gives us more options for our home.

The only thing I don’t like if it’s a cold room the heat just keep going non stop you too it reach the temperature you want it. In the mean while the room next door is very hot.

It is nice that you can set these sensors in different rooms to correspond to the temp in the room that you are usually in at a certain time of day. Example I cook dinner around 5:30 and the kitchen gets warm so from 5:30 to 6:30 my kitchen sensor is the active temperature setting the nest is try to cool at.
