Nest thermostats are compatible with many different types of heating systems, including boiler systems. Nest Thermostats are usually compatible with zoned systems that use multiple thermostats, including zoned systems with dampers. But there are some systems that are not. Does not come with Nest screwdriver

PROS 1- Great Price 2 - Easily installation in the Google Home App. CONS 1- It does not come with Nest screwdriver. If I did not have the one that came with my first nest I would be very frustrated. 2- I would prefer to have it in the Nest App as opposed to the Google Home App. The set up is only for Google Home for what I see so I can only control it via Google Home.

Google should include the Trim Plate

After spending much time trying to make the wiring work; finally searched on internet to find out unit not compatible with multiple setups including mine. I already had a Nest gen 3 on another zone and agent stated this would would work. Returned and replaced with more expensive gen 3. Definitely recommend gen 3 as prefer screen and rotary/push control of gen 3 over this unit.

I would say anyone who has used both would agree.. my power bill went way up when cause I switched to ecobee lite3 with 2 sensors.. even ecobee’s customer support said most customers that switch from Nest to ecobee are disappointed.. it’s nice having a Nest again &?knowing the AC changes to away within seconds of leaving the house and back to home the second I pull up.. The Ecobee would never switch, apparently it takes 2 hours of no motion detected for it to change if its not scheduled too, 2 hours is a long time.. Anyway if your reading this and debating between Nest & Ecobee get the Nest..

I didn’t but the plate because I eventually made one with wood and had an engraving on it. Looks Better this way.

Cloud connection is SEAMLESS as well, all in all 10/10
