As of this writing, I have been fighting for a YEAR to get this thing to work properly. I spent countless hours on the phone with just getting the thing to connect to the app!! Then it kept dropping power. And then the internal temperature it showed was very high so I had to pump my heat all the way up to get it to turn on and warm the house. I had heating bills over $200 last season because of this thing. And the worst part is Google has not been helpful in getting a replacement. So I am choosing another brand. Would give five THUMBS DOWN for this overpriced piece of crap.

It’s really good I should buy it’s like the other nest thermostat 3 gen but it does not learn the routine of you going to work or not or turning it off or on at a different time and it works on my phone !!

Love being able to program my thermostat and the app feature is super convenient. I can lower my heat when I’m leaving the house and turn it back early enough before I return that it’s toasty when I get back.

This AC thermostat is horrible and unfortunately I can't return it. My previous thermostat would allow me to either turn the fan completely off or have the fan on auto. This thermostat has no option for the fan to run on auto. It's supposed to also have an option to turn the fan off completely and run it intermittently, but even though I've followed the instruction in doing this, it still runs constantly. Since it's running all the time, my electric bill has gone up so high. It was an open box purchase, but it was labeled as "EXECELLENT CONDITION". These open box items should have a longer return time frame because in my case, I was not aware that there was a problem and a defect until I could have my AC contractor verify this.

Does what it says it does. Very basic item here. Basic installation.

This is a great thermostat and I love it! Easily programmable and works well with my Google voice device.

Ive had this Nest for half a year now. It started giving me problems a couple weeks back, when i called I found out there was an upgrade. Once i upgraded the system everything worked.

Love this thermostat really easy to use and set up By Best Buy geek squad was great and very professional. Took about half an hour but the tech was really nice and make sure everything works well

Great thermostat. Nice to monitor while away and adjust if needed. Eco status is a little tricky, but seems to be ok when you get it figured out.

I can't really review product, still in box. I have heard good things. Hope that's the case for us.

Had the E version before and finally found this one on sale. Works as it should and seems very accurate. Does not come with a wall plate, luckily I was able to make it work without.

This is not quite as easy to use and install now that Google got involved (I much prefer the old Nest app and interface), but it is still quite good.

Better than most. But it does have its issues. Replaced twice

I used two of these thermostats to control ac units inside a large building. Was concerned because no C wire but turns out, didnt need it! still worked!

A must for the house. I’m glad I can control from my phone. I should have gotten this earlier.

very poor . Getting off line frequently in google home app. Requested google support to help, ot replacement, but same issue. I did make changes to network setting without success. Lots of people are having same issue

It works perfectly. The convenience is great and looks really modern.

My house was not compatible with thermostat, so I'm unable to leave an honest review.

My only complaint is that I did not know about this sooner! Especially with the rebates available in many states (cost ~$50 here in Massachusetts with an instant rebate when purchased through BestBuy).
