It is beautiful on the wall. Very simple to use and read. I can adjust it with my phone and set a schedule using the app. Installation was super easy. I love that the display turns on as I pass it so I can see what the temperature is set at and then turns back off once I move past it.

Great product. I have been a Nest user for 12 years so I was already a fan. I had my HVAC replaced and needed a new thermostat and saw this one. It's perfect, because I didn't need another learning thermostat. Great gap purchase. Same user friendly features of the learning model. Great design and functionality.

This thermostat is very exact and very easy to use. I love the way it looks on my wall. It’s much more modern looking as compared to my old thermostat. To change the temperature in the house, you just roll your finger on the side of the unit and it easily raises or decreases the room temperature.

Not good, not bad. If you’re on the fence on the $300 Nest or this one. Go with the $300. I had the $300 nest and it gave out after about 2 years, saw this one and thought it would be ok. It was, for the most part. The user interface is not as easy as the original and there is no additional thermostat support. I use to have a thermostat sensor upstairs and at the back of my house, now I have only the thermostat on the wall. Save your time and get the original Nest

This thermostat takes all of the guessing games out. Very easy to use and understand. Very nice on the wall, doesn't take up much space at all. Really like the app so that any changes to be made are at your fingertips. You won't be disappointed

My first experience with a smart thermostat, and it was great! App guided installation was quick and easy and integration with my existing Google Home/Google assistant is awesome ("OK Google, set the heat to 72 degrees"). Its easy to setup heating/cooling schedules and the side touch controls are relatively easy to use once you get used to them. I needed to do some wall repair when I removed the old thermostat, since this one was so much smaller and this unit does not come with a trim kit. Total cost was well under $100 after local utility rebate which is what made me pull the trigger. Highly recommended.

Great price and relatively easy installation. It allow me to control the temperature from my mobile, so at night I don’t need to go out of the bed to make the room colder.

Installed quickly and works well. The scheduling software was a bit confusing, not nearly as intuitive as the leaning thermostats.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It works seamlessly with the app and allows us to connect to our local energy company to get reward for energy conservation. Great buy!

Great little thermostat for it's abilities. If you don't know anything about electrical or HVAC, I wouldn't recommend installing. I had to hook up an extra wire to thermostat and also check to make sure that wire was hooked up to the correct terminal in the indoor AC unit/evaporator. Google didn't explain any of this really, cause there is possibility of electric shock messing with that stuff. It wasn't plug and play for me. But for those who are willing to do a little research and are kinda handy it won't be bad. Being able to set the temp to change at certain times is very nice. Also not having to get up go to thermostat to change temp is great too.

I thought the Nest Learning Thermostat E was great at its price point, but this is even better! It looks great and performs well while being sold at a very reasonable price point. The only drawback is the lack of learning capability, but that didn't affect me. A solid smart thermostat.

Easy to use; easy to install and a time and money saver.

Upgrading from a builder installed Honeywell thermostat to the Google Nest was a major improvement. The installation was easy. Lesson learned: Cut the bare portion of the red wire when you remove the old one and install the new Nest. If by any chance the red wire contacts another wire, you will blow out the fuse in your attic unit. It is low voltage so no harm done, but it is a pain to replace. The basic installation was extremely easy. I did not use a base plate to install the Nest, just drilled into the sheet rock/stud and it worked fine. Filled and repainted the holes left by old thermostat. Programming it was easy using an iPhone. It is nice to be able to make adjustments using the phone. App is good, but you may have to poke around a bit initially until you figure out where all the key controls are.

I did not install but the setup on the phone was straight forward and works instantly with the system. Amazing product!

I never thought setting up a thermostat would be this easy but Google really did that. The design is very sleek and the front is a mirror which I didnt expect. I blew a fuse installing this so make sure your power is off before installing this. A cost effective option to the 3rd Gen Nest.

Very happy, wasn’t sure if it would work as good as higher priced smart thermostat, but very pleasantly surprised! Very aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful design. Very easy setup via app. My wife loves being able to adjust temp with any Alexa enabled device even when your away from home.

Easy installation. Step by step instructions are provided online. The c-wire is to assist with battery life is somewhat confusing. The battery life is short lived without the c-wire which is a black wire.

Works great like the options it has. I like being able to get the most control of my hvac dystem.

Purchased two of these to replace some older discontinued nest thermostats. Installation was straight forward and I was able to use the existing Nest trim rings. Took two tries to get the google home app to recognize one of them but everything ultimately synced up. Would definitely recommend.
