And as someone who loves to sleep with the air way down, it's so simple to just have the thermostat set to change at certain times each day. It's much easier to do that on the nest thermostat than with the old thermostat that may already be in your home. I gave up trying to program the old one and would simply try to remember to adjust twice a day. It'll come as no surprise to find that this did not work out well very often. But after the upgrade I've saved an average of 2 dollars a day on energy along with the simple peace of mind not having to worry about it and let the nest just do its thing. Be sure to pick up the backplate as well if you aren't 100% certain that you won't need it. Returns are easy with best buy so it's better to just have it but not need it rather than the other way around. Love how simple and easy to use the nest thermostat and I can't imagine going without it.

Smart thermostat, most utilities offer rebate

Remote control through the Google Home app is good. The touch strip on the side is a clunky input, but it's good enough and I rarely use it. Most utilities offer a rebate for participating in their energy saver programs, making this thermostat free or almost free.

Unobtrusive Thermostat

Only slight con is that it is not a rotating bezel. However, you end up using your phone or just asking Google to change your temperature anyways so there's no need to physically touch the thermostat.

A bit difficult to navigate for individuals who arw not exactly tech savvy.

You have to read all directions and explore on your own to get a full understanding of how it works. The Eco feature is very nice. Not crazy about the morrow front look but that was the only one in stock.

I’m so excited about this all I can say is this is my new best friend. I can operate everything from my phone before going home. Ladies MamaD BFF!!
