The Nest thermostat allows us to monitor the temperatures at our property when we are away. Saves on energy costs and helps to avoid issues with extreme temperatures.

Although it took a while to figure out how to use it, after you do this, it is actually quite simple to operate. I like the fact that it provides all the needed information succinctly and in a manner which is easy to see and comprehend. Overall very happy with it... and it is pretty cool looking

Great value for a sleek and intuitive thermostat. It doesn't have the learning of the more advanced model. I've had those in another house and we ended up overwriting the "smart" program anyway. I did have an issue with my network but it went away when I upgraded my router tech.

This is a very good smart thermostat, and it's easy to install. I've now owned 3 of them and feel they are just enough of what you need without the gimmicky 'learning' of their more expensive model.

Very easy to install. There is no need to call an electrician to setup.

The Service at the Lancaster store is terrible. This product is probably fine it just does not work with my model of furnace. When I went to return it I was first told I could not return it because I only have 3 days to return. Then I was told 2 weeks and then I was told I could not return it because it was opened (how else was I to know it would not work). I have installed 3 nests at other homes. In this case, I called customer support and they said I needed some extra wiring. That took more than a week to get and I was out of town for 2 weeks when it came. Anyway, the manager refused to credit my account and take the return. He and his manager were cranky and not even listening. The irony is, while we waiting to addressed I was telling my mom why I always chose Best Buy -- because their customer service is so good. But no more. Not sure if it is just this store or the whole company is changing but I will just order on line as that is easier for me anyway since I travel for work. I try to shop local to help out but not if they are mean.

Installed and set up in about twenty minutes, routines and all. If you need the remote sensors they do not work with this model, you need the silver and black one.

Takes some getting used. Wish it had a way to brighten the screen to see it better but other than that I really like it

I love this thermostat! Way better than the ecobee. I can control from my phone. Geek squad help me install it. It’s a little difficult to set up. But works good.

I really like the thermostat. The only reason for it not getting 5 stars, is that it disconnects from google home every month. A quick restart resolves it,but still.

I have limited handyman skills, but it was so, so easy to install this thermostat. My only compliant would be that the interface with the physical thermostat is a li'l tricky. But, the app is so easy to use that it sorta balances out.

I bought this to replace nest 3rd generation because I didn't like the integration of Nest App vs. the Google Home App (Home/Away almost never worked). I like the fact I can program the temperatures and the home/away works great.

Excellent and not super expensive smart thermostat. Most electric providers even give discounts for the product which makes the price even more appealing. I have installed 3 of these and they are very easy to install, the instructions are very easy to follow.

Every bit as good as the full priced (overpriced?) Nest thermostats. You're giving up nothing in functionality with this one. Maybe a little in aesthetics but only if you're a fan of the traditional Nest design.

It’s amazing and easy to install and it’s amazing because I can control it through my phone and was a great customer service because i was missing and adapter and they send it to me for free

Decent thermostat for the price, would have liked to have the outside temp display upon waking up. Had a trouble with connecting to wifi with my phone, had to use wife's.

Couldn’t decide between between this and the smart thermostat. Glad I went with the more affordable one. Seems the same to me and the aesthetics of this thermostat looks amazing on my wall. The mirror finish is a nice touch. 10/10 set up couldn’t be any easier.

Love the Nest I’m able to control my temperature of my house from anywhere, I was easy to install. I’m a single woman did it myself.
