Looks brand new and saved me a few dollars. I purchased 2 of these. It makes life much easier. My wife definitely love the fact that she can talk to Alexa to control it.

You have to tap the side to activate, then rub along the edge to scroll through the menu. Then tap again to select. It's clean, but forgettable.

It’s small, compact and stylish. I actually had a guest come over and thought it was a hallway mirror. Really enjoy being able to control via my phone. I can’t say though that I’ve noticed a huge difference in my heating bill which is unfortunate. But it’s very easy to install and once you learn the controls (no buttons on the device), it’s pretty easy to adjust. Extra word of advice…don’t buy the decorative plate accessory. It’s oddly shaped and actually looks awkward behind the thermostat and likely is too small to fit your previous theromastat’s wall plate. (I had an old Honeywell) I didn’t feel like disassembling and removing all the wires so I decided to just keep it.

Also, the trim kit is optional, and is designed to cover the holes and marks left by your previous thermostat. Great modern look and upgrade over our previous thermostat. The display is bright and surprisingly easy to read off the mirror finish.

So it does take a bit of time getting used to setting products up to google home. If you’re not new to this then it’s a easy. Will be buying doorbell next.

We used an ecobee previously to this, and it honestly is night and day difference since upgrading to the nest. Would recommend

Integrated well with the Google home and the app controls are convenient.

Uses a slide motion to navigate. Also must be managed outside of Nest App with Google Home.

You can't get direct power thru C cable but its definitely worth not spending 250$ on the next model up. There's no real differences besides that
