    Easy setup. However, cannot use old Google Nest app on this one. Must download and use Google Home app. Had several G-mail accounts. If I did not yet have one, would have been a hassle.

    Got $100 rebate through my energy company rebate program which made this a no-brainer. Fantastic integration with Google Home and super convenient to have my thermostat automatically adjust to save power when I'm not home, and also to be able to control it with a voice assistant.

    Great thermostat for saving energy when I'm not home. Before this thermostat I just had a normal thermostat where you couldn't schedule when it would operate. It has significantly reduced my heating and cooling bills

    Not as easy to setup as its grown up brother the “learning” version. But using the Google Home app makes it a little easier but its definitely not as user friendly.

Though the Nest Thermostat doesn't have a touch screen, you can use the touch bar on the right side to control your thermostat. You can swipe up to raise the temperature, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm. The display will show you how many minutes until your desired temperature is reached.
      - Tap the touch bar to bring up the menu.
      - Swipe up or down to select an option.
      - Tap the touch bar again to confirm your selection.

    Got to go with my doorbell, hub and google tv. All connects seamlessly and works great from my phone. Love being able to see temps and change even if Im not home.

    Great product and functions. You have to be careful during the installation when touching the low voltage wires. It can cause your AC to blow a fuse. You need to completely unplug your AC before installing.

    Lovely Thermo Stat doesn't let you lock it for tamper protecton but it is programmable and you can adjust it remotely.

    For the price, this thermostat does the trick. It is difficult to initially set up and was finicky without the app. Also if your initial spot is lower on the wall, you will see the LED illumination lights for the screen.

    Does not focus on the cooling and heating functions as the latest version. While it is programmable, smart is not an option. It doesnt do well managing movement or sensors as the newest models.

    Got this on sale, has been awesome so far. With weather changing we will turn down heat or air and forget and be in bed and being able to change the temp from bed is amazing.

    Easy install overall the reason for a 4 star review is the wifi set up. It had a very hard time connecting to my wifi. Took a very long and frustrating process, not sure if something can be done about it.

    Hard to get it programmed. My app keeps saying that it cannot connect and the last time I tried it said it is not compatible with the wiring at my house. Pain in the butt. I went to send it back and was informed that it was too late and the "return window" passed by 2 days. I have had several people try to do it so that took time, plus I am in the middle of moving and construction.
