How did we ever live without this?

We feel better knowing how our heat and AC are performing when we are not home.

I had exist gadgets connected to Google Home so I had no difficulty setting it up. I get to change the temperature from my bed!

Not bad, not great

Since the Nest Thermostat doesn't have a touch screen, you can use the touch bar on the right side to control your thermostat. Swipe up to raise the temperature, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm. The display will show you how many minutes until your desired temperature is reached. Here’s how:
- Tap the touch bar to bring up the menu.
- Swipe up or down to select an option.
- Tap the touch bar again to confirm your selection.
Also, the thermostat must be set to Heat, Cool, or Heat • Cool mode to change its temperature. To change the mode, tap Temperature mode Heat Cool mode and select the one you want. Then you can manually adjust the temperature two different ways:
- Tap and drag the dial clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the temperature
- Tap + or – to increase or decrease the temperature 1° at a time.

Nest Thermostat works with most 24V heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and heat pumps with either forced air or radiant delivery that has a maximum of 6 wires.

We really like the smart products and have pivoted to almost exclusively the Nest brand with a lot of success.

The worst tech experience I have ever had

I spent countless hours on the phone with just getting the thing to connect to the app!! Then it kept dropping power. And then the internal temperature it showed was very high so I had to pump my heat all the way up to get it to turn on and warm the house. I had heating bills over $200 last season because of this thing. And the worst part is Google has not been helpful in getting a replacement. So I am choosing another brand. Would give five THUMBS DOWN for this overpriced piece of crap.

The scheduling is easy to configure and works well. It’s awesome to be able to override when remote and access the thermostat. It’s a great looking item too

Not worth the trouble

Looked it up and alot if people have the same issue. Retunred in and installes old thermostat and problem was fixed.
