Constantly disconnects

I am SURPRISED if 3 days have passed and its still connected. I don’t understand how it has all these positive reviews. Dont get your hopes up.

Do not buy this product

The technician had a hard time connecting the Nest to my wifi. They tried two different units, and they did not work. I had to upgrade to the next model, and that worked like a champ with no issues.

Looks likes there is no scheduling or learning. Notneasy to control as is touch based on a small strip on side. Its a cheap alternative for the original thermostat, if you can, buy the original.

The unexpected temperature changes may have happened due to the existing schedules. You can customize your preset schedule based on your preferences:
To check your existing schedule:
- Go to Google Home App > Settings > Schedules > Clear schedule.
- Create your temperature presets - go to temperature preference > temperature presets > create customer.
- Create a new schedule - Settings > Schedules > Add > Select temperature > select start time > Add to event > done.
To remove:
- On the Home App
- Tap settings > schedule > tap the preset temperature > remove.

Posted .Hi StevenM, we appreciate you for the feedback you provided about the Nest Thermostat, and we’re sorry to learn it doesn’t stay at the programmed temperature at night. We can imagine the inconvenience it may have caused, and this is not the kind of experience we want to share with you.
If you want to set your thermostat on temperature hold to maintain a specific temperature for as long as you want, please see the steps below:
- In the Menu view, select Hold temperature.
- Select Current temp or Eco.
- Choose a time. You can scroll up and down to edit the time by half-hour blocks.
If you’re using the Eco preset, you can also choose None to hold the temperature indefinitely until you end the hold. For other presets, your thermostat can hold the temperature for up to 24 hours.
- Select Confirm.
If you want to make changes to the temperature but there’s a hold, the app or thermostat will tell you that you need to end the hold first.
