I would recommend this to a friend Only connects on 2.4 GHz frequency in my house

Had to turn off the 5GHz. If you ever have to reset it to get it to reconnect you will lose all of your usage history. One of the dumbest things is that the temp set point is the large number on the display and the actual temp is the small number. Most people see the thermostat from a distance and assume that the large number is the actual temp and it should be. The indoor temp is always relevant but sometimes the set point is not, e.g. when it is cool enough outside that you do not need the A/C. As a thermostat it works fine.

Connectivity issues for Nest Thermostat may be caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby and other Wi-FI settings. Dual band connection should be compatible with Nest Thermostat. 2.4Ghz is more stable compared to 5Ghz especially if there are a lot of devices connected to the same network at the time.

I don’t think it provides accurate humidity readings and it takes too long from command to get AC on lower or higher temperature. Doesn’t work as well as other products I’ve used.
