  • An Okay replacement for Nest E if it works

    Not as good as the old Nest E thermostat. I like the look more, but this one didn't work with my system. I also don't like that it doesn't come with a base plate and it doesn't allow you to use temp sensors, or just run your fan.

    I installed this thermostat in my apartment and I quickly started saving money on our energy bills. with the with the ability to set schedules and preferences, we hardly have to change it. In the occasion we have to change it, we use the voice commands through our Amazon devices or through the app.

    The different modes that can be automatically scheduled throughout the day enable me to save money on peak energy times. I highly recommend using eco mode when you can. Make sure you have a C-Wire before installing

    The instruction on how to replace it with the old thermostat was clear, but unfortunately, the good setup process was not very straightforward. Took me multiple tries for it to show up on my google home app and connect it with amazon's alexa
