    The trim kit compliminted the thermostat. It covered the whole in the perfect. It made it look very modern.

    It is great to cover up the area of your old thermostat. Doesn’t look that great though, but does the job. If you’re using the steel plate and screwing it in to the holes as per your previous thermostat, then it might get a little tight. I didn’t want to drill a new hole so I tried to just force it in - result was that the plate is still slightly loose. It’s fine since I never physically touch that area - I only use the app to control the thermostat

    Perfect Fit. 1 star less - as the curvature of the plate should have been towards the wall - rather than having the edges against the wall.
