    I didn't need this as the thermostat came with it's own back but my contractor said that this didn't fit as well as the included one. Don't know the difference.

    This is great, if it's actually needed, that is! If you purchase a Nest thermostat, there is already a trim kit that comes with it. So, unless you want a different color other than white, don't purchase this. Just saying.

    Does the job (covering unpainted parts of the wall), but it’s so weirdly designed that my “pro” installation guy installed it backwards. The backwards way looks so much more natural that I didn’t notice for several days. I wish the back didn’t have the extra lines on it so that you could install it either way.
