Only reason to get it though is to cover up holes/mis matched paint from previous thermostat. I realized when I upgraded my nest was much smaller and previous owners didn’t paint underneath the old thermostat leaving a different color. This is very quick to install makes, makes your thermostat stand out in a good way, and avoids a lot of hassle fixing what it covers up.

Aesthetically pleasing & practical

This was a lifesaver! And it looks sleek and elegant. Definitely recommend, especially for vintage houses and scarred walls.

Nice fix to cover some wall damage

Worked like a charm.
