    Nice Mesh Router Set

I bought this set because my old mesh router died. This is rated for 4400 square feet, so I figured the two would suffice. The set covers my house very well (3600 sq ft) and was easy to set up All my devices connected seamlessly. You may want to move the satellite one around a little so you cover your place optimally. Note that they both look the same and I assume they work identically, although one is going to be the connection to your Internet service, so the other one will serve as the satellite access point.

I had an older Netgear Nighthawk from my old apartment. While that worked, I was only getting about 400 in one room and 100 upstairs. Decided to run this setup wired, since I was already running cable upstairs. I dropped a point in the front of house, and one upstairs and it's amazing. I'm about 800 upstairs and in front and 900 where the main is setup. If you can wire them directly or in my case using a couple of unmanaged switches at the main and at the end you'll be very happy. I wire devices that aren't portable, like TVs and desktops, and keep the wireless for things like phones, tablets, and smart home devices. Definitely happy with purchase, and would recommend, unless you require advanced settings. The only problem that I had was the single SSID, since some devices really couldn't connect since they are a bit older and I ended up just using the old modem and using the 2.4 band off that.

Love my google system! It's easy to set up, works like a charm, and doesn't look like a weird, spidery spaceship. No complaints, this is a fantastic router and mesh system!

Great WiFi coverage and fast. The only thing that would help would be having status lights on the Ethernet ports.

We purchased the Google Nest WiFi pro mesh router to improve our coverage throughout the house as our previous extender wasn’t doing the job. Happy to report this solved our issue of our google nest system disconnecting multiple times daily. Recommend this for anyone looking to improve your household Wi-Fi coverage.

I added this fourth unit to a three-unit set that replaced an older, slower Google Mesh system. The per cost of an incremental unit is very high, but my modest 2200 square foot house (which theoretically should require only one unit, not four) apparently presents some challenges, and my fancy new 4K OLED Samsung TV was stuttering frequently. This unit seems to have mitigated the problem, and the SpeedTest numbers are good. Setup is fairly easy but not intuitive, and the small, faint QR code is almost impossible to scan.

Very easy to set up and provided coverage all through the house at speeds of no lower than 400 Mb/s. It literally took me 15 minutes for all three stations.

Make the upgrade form your existing Google mesh system. The speed and coverage is so much better. Open box but this works like any other new item.

The units were a bit heavier than they look but not too bad. It was an easy basic setup. I have a 3 level home including basement. I placed 1 on the top floor and 1 in the middle section and the speeds are consistant on every level of my home. All of the outdoor cameras have no issues connecting to the wifi and the video quality was a bit better as well. My only issue was the 2nd unit, not connected to the modem, went out 2 seperate times needimg a restart. Since then it hasnt done it again. Maybe the crash report sent the issue to google and fixed with an update. I'll never know. I would buy again but get on sale if possible.

So 6 months ago I bought a new expensive supposedly top of the line wireless router because I was tired of renting one from the cable company and ever since setting up this new router I’ve had nothing but connectivity issues. Half the time my google homes would not connect, my cameras wouldn’t work, or my smart lights wouldn’t come on. It was very annoying. Purchased these and placed them around my house and everything has been working seamlessly wish I did it sooner. Set up was super easy even my technological challenged mom could do it! Just get them!

The set up is a little tedious but once done it’s worth it, it works great. My house is 3500 ft.² but it’s long it’s not stacked on top of each other and concrete walls so I purchased this and it made a huge difference, I run about 63 to 72 devices at a time, the mesh handles it with no problems.

Easy Mesh System to Set Up

After previous router extender purchases that were difficult to set up with minor improvement, Google made these easy, and my pair found each other even at opposite ends of the house. Perhaps my situation worked because I have wired ethernet from my router to each of these, which as a pair, provide a new wifi mesh address, stronger signal than my router. I didn't have to readdress any of my current wifi devices, but now my phone gets wifi at a larger range. As long as the little white light is steady on the front, they are working fine. However a couple of times I find a flashing light, which means a disconnect, but a power unplug/replug resets it. Overall very pleased, I only wish these were available in black.

Product work as expected. However, there are some drops in connection here and there. Not as much as it used to, which tells me they still need some system update to fix all the issues. But signal and speed, you cant go wrong with this product.

I had the previous model and it was working fine with a few drops here and there. That system was fried when my house was struck by lightning. When I chose this, it went on sale so it was a must buy for me. It has performed better and worth the buy, especially when its on sale. Must have!
