Product work as expected. However, there are some drops in connection here and there. Not as much as it used to, which tells me they still need some system update to fix all the issues. But signal and speed, you cant go wrong with this product.

One con - if you own a Pixel 10 Pro/Pro XL - it caps your download speeds to 20mbps or below. Its the year 2026 and we still see hiccups from 10 years ago,

Amazing!!! So I had a Netgear Nighthawk Gigabit router (paid $159 from Amazon on June 2021) I kept getting inconsistent connectivity and speed kept fluctuating between 250 Gigs and 69 Mbps, and it occurred all of the sudden unexpectedly. I kept thinking it must by provider. So I did some research and decided to give this Google system a shot....OMG!!! This tech is fantastic!!! Setting up was a breeze!!! I have a 2 bedroom condo, so this 1 + 2 solution created the perfect Mesh system for me....what's my speed you ask....455 Gigs, while far from 1 Terabyte, this is night and day for me. Yes buy it!!!

Great system! Purchased to replace an older Eero system and these work great. Covers our 2,500 sq ft house with ease. I will say these do better when each beacon has its own dedicated Ethernet connection, but they still work great if you just plug straight into your modem. We have 1Gbps up and down and this system lets me download or upload anything at full speed anywhere in my house.

Easy to setup wifi mesh system. Does a great job of covering our house. Speeds are great. Problem is there isnt alot of control. Cant setup a nas easily and can not really see nework traffic accuratly. No advanced setup or menus. I would recommend other mesh systems. Asus or orbi.

I replaced my old Google Wifi with the Pro 6e. The setup was seamless. The performance boost was better than anticipated over the old system, and the system components are connected over ethernet. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've had the Nest WiFi Pro installed in my home for a week now and they have been amazing. I bought the 2-pack and have one on each floor to cover my whole house well. As soon as I installed these I instantly saw a difference. I have a big smart home (lots of devices) and I have a couple cameras that are outside. My previous router (the original Linksys Velop) was about 6 years old and started showing its age. My cameras weren't getting the strongest connection anymore and a couple of my Lifx smart lights were becoming very slow to respond to commands. As soon as I had both of my Nest WiFi Pro installed all of my connection issues disappeared. My cameras are no longer struggling to show me live views and my lights are all lightning fast to respond. A few things that I really like about the Nest WiFi Pro are that you can turn the status light on the front of the routers off if you don't want that white light shining (especially if you have your router out in the open), I like that you can perform a speed test on the individual devices that you have connected to your router and not just the main router's speeds from the modem, and I really like that there is a setting to be notified every time a new device is added to your network. This is great for me knowing that the Leviton smart dimmer switch that I just installed last night has been properly connected, but it can also let me know if a device that I am unaware of has gotten onto my network and I can immediately block that device from accessing my network further. I would say the only thing I don't like about these routers is that the 2-pack only comes in white. I think I would have liked a different color, but that is just a cosmetic thing. It has no influence on the performance of the router.

Don’t buy this piece of garbage

I had a Nest Wifi 5 for a long while and worked just ok, but wifi speed was subpar and took forever to connect to my nest cameras. Also, I could never use to the fullest my 1Gbps fiber bandwidth because of the Wifi 5 limitations. For that reason, I decided to give the new Nest Pro 6 a chance. Worst mistake I have ever made. It worked fine for a few weeks, then everything started failing and disconnecting all the time. Unstable connection with a lot of volatile latency in the network unsustainable for people working from home using video conference. I suspected it could be my internet connection, so I decided to try connecting all my devices directly to the AT&T Fiber router, and it worked perfectly. Reaching out to Google support, they required me (baffle now) to cable all mesh points. This is absurd and the most ridiculous product support I have ever received and made me decide to never purchase any Google products for the rest of my life. I hope you read this review before buying this piece of hit garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy an Eero mesh which ja a thousand times more reliable, faster, and cheaper.

Nice bump in reliability of my network. Was able to retire my Asus and TP-Link mesh routers that controlled my smart house and combine with my main network. Very nice access and speed. WiFi-6e does make a difference on my phones and laptops. More options to configure routers, but simplicity of mesh makes easy for novices. Wired ethernet back-haul definitely improved the simultáneous use of lights, locks cameras, Internet browsing, file downloads, and multiple 4K streaming points. Cannot wait to test Matter, the smart home solution.

East to setup! I went with Google Wifi Pro because of the 6e backhauling capability. This alleviates congestion over the 2.4 and 5g bands with wifi systems without a dedicated backhauling network. I also game and work from home with lots of UCaaS type traffic, so it's nice to be able to prioritize Gaming and call traffic. What I will say is this is for the set it and forget consumer. I've owned high end gaming routers and always liked the features to be able to make tweeks for my use, but what I found is it really makes no measurable difference (for me). I need whole home coverage and to be able to put LOTS of IOT devices on my network. In order to have good gaming quality and call quality though, no matter how good marketing says the router/mesh network is, if you put cameras on that network and you also have 4 apple TV's in the house, you WILL have a laggy network. You will notice it in quality of your streaming services. I found myself having to turn off my cameras and always on my kids for leaving the TV/IPADs running for background noise. Here's how I solved it! I setup 4 networks and 2 separate WIFI systems. I run the Google Nest WIFI and Google Nest WIFI Pro! The pro network runs my main network and the IOT network. This separates my thermostats, dishwasher, lights, Apple TV, etc from my computers and gaming devices. But this wasn't enough when I added cameras, so I created another "home" in Google Home and stood up my old Google Nest Wifi as a strictly camera network. I run ALL of this over a T-Mobile 5G network perfectly. By separating the traffic over multiple networks (and 2 Google Nest WIFI routers), it reduces the noisiness you will get when trying to shove signals from the 50+ devices (in my case) over a single router (even if you divide it over the 2 available networks). Using your guest network helped some, but I personally reached a point when devices were noticeably slow to respond (ie trying to see video in my sons room or search the internet, while the TVs are running and my wife is on a business call). Now, everything work great! You would think the 2 wifi systems would conflict, but the wifi systems are good at selecting wifi channels that are not congested... and I have the 2 router systems sitting right next to each other in each room. 3 Pro and 3 non-pro and no you can't connect them together.

I have four of these placed throughout a 3100 square-foot home. The speed is lightning fast. We have multiple devices connected and streaming at the same time without a glitch. The performance is dramatically improved over the first generation. Installation was quick and easy.

Bought and installed this in a new home where my garage and the living areas were further away from one another and the Nest Wifi Pro was able to get signal through different floors and walls so we can get updates to our Tesla. Installation was simple and the mesh network synced up without issue. Have not experience any drop outs while using the mesh router and speeds are fast (depending on your ISP). Also appreciate the simplicity of setting up a guest network.
