For anyone thinking about whether you should buy this Google Wi-fi Pro 6e or the Eero Pro 6e, I will tell you which one is the best. I had the experience and opportunity to use both and let's begin. I used these Google Wi-fi Pro 6e (3 pack) for about 2 months and even though you get wifi the range is not too good. I was thinking it was on my end until I decided to buy the Eero Pro 6e and instantly my internet range, and performance skyrocketed. Using Google strictly on Wi-fi my downloads were about 18mbps, Using Google as a wired mesh connection my downloads were 20mbps. Not very good at all either way. Now, switching to Eero Pro 6e my wi-fi speeds were around 184mbps, When I tried the wired mesh connection with Eero Pro 6e my speeds went to 526mbps almost triple my speeds. The range I was getting using Google was I could walk out my door outside and that's it. Using Eero I can go down the street around the block and then some before I lose connection. I get full wifi bars on all my devices using Eero and no one complained since getting the Eero. I have over 5,000 square feet of home and I used 4 Eero Pro 6e. I am really enjoying and glad I got the eeros now. Google Wifi pro 6e is okay and it's not bad and cheaper than the Eero but Eero pro 6e is by far a better product than Google. I used them both and can confidently say which one is better.

I had the older model but had a significant WiFi speed drop off at the furthest access point. This one is amazing. This one gives me much higher speed. I get 500+ speed at the main access point at the modem, the furthest access point gives me 300+. This is exactly what I needed. It’s pretty pricey but works great.

This is my second set as I replaced the old one I’ve had for 8 years. I recently installed a security system with multiple cameras in my home and needed to increase my wi-if muscle/strength to accommodate the additional devices that were crowding my network. The Google Mesh did the job perfectly and for my needs the two pods were enough. Great purchase and better product.

We got this to help with wifi coverage at one end of our downstairs, we had one of the original nest mesh systems but it work when we switched to TMHI and have only had that gateway for a few know and its works ok but there were weak spots. We recently saw that the new ayatens workes well with TMHI so we figured it couldnt hurt to try, its not perfect but it has helped with whole coverage and outside cameras for-sure!!!!

Got this single one to add to my three piece mesh. Got this to replace my old Google mesh that newer devices were having a hard time staying connected to. I am glad I upgraded. Setup was easy. Everything is connecting and staying connected.

Hi there, JeffersonS. Thanks for leaving feedback on Nest Wifi Pro! We're glad you love the speed, quality, and design. But it’s unfortunate to hear about the unexpected interruptions.

Here are a few things you can try:
      - Restart your Nest Wifi Pro. Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve software glitches.
      - Check for app and firmware updates. Make sure you're running the latest versions of the Google Home app and Nest Wifi Pro firmware.
      - Optimize your network. Ensure your Nest Wifi Pro points are positioned optimally for strong signals throughout your home.

If the issues persist, please don't hesitate to contact our support team directly. We’d be happy to take a closer look and troubleshoot the issues further: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

Hey there, Indoree. Happy to hear you had an easy time setting up your Nest Wifi Pro and its range is good for you. That said, we hear you on wanting to connect a CAT5 cable to it. The Nest Wifi Pro includes an Ethernet port and for optimal performance, we advise using at least a CAT5e-rated Ethernet cable for the connection. There is no desktop network manager, you are forced to use the simplified app to make network modifications. I had to downgrade to WPA2 from WPA3 in order to get my Tesla wall charger to connect. To my knowledge, this is only an issue with this system. It’s fast, the hardware is great. But the software needs work, they need to make a more robust desktop portal to configure network settings and they need to fix WPA3/WPA2 compatibility issues.

Great Wi-Fi! Easy set up and positioning through the google home app. I have one plugged directly into my AT&T modem in pass through mode. The other two receivers are at opposite ends of the house and on different floors and I get blazing fast Wi-Fi in every room of the house. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle free mesh network for a medium size home.

Had to give 4 stars due to the crazy setup process. I’ve used Google Mesh routers for years, and recently upgraded to the Nest Pro. I’ve done the setup for these types of routers numerous times, but the Pro setup was crazy. After over 3 hours of trouble shooting, doing exactly what your supposed to, I couldn’t get my 2nd and 3rd router setup. I kept getting a connection error. No matter how many times I wiped the network and started over, or used another one of my mesh routers as the main one to setup, I still had the issue with the 2nd, and 3rd device. I finally found a post the next day where the person said that if you are having connection issues when trying to pair your other devices, to just plug the Ethernet cord into your paired main router, then into the one you are trying to pair, and it will work. I couldn’t believe it, but it worked, and I was up and running within minutes after that. So, if your having issues, just do that and save yourself the headache. In the end, I love the Nest Pro routers, the setup was the no so fun part.
