I'm not even sure why I purchased it other than we have a lot of google devices and I thought they'd integrate well. This is a terrible system if you want to connect through ethernet. The wifi coverage is not terrible but it doesn't live up to its claims. Next home, we're going with Unify.

1. Your device is far from your Wifi router: often moving your device closer to your router or point will result in improved connection.
2. Building materials and other objects may slow your connection: if possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
3. Some devices do not support the faster Wi-Fi standards: speed is dependent on both the router or point and the device that is connected to it. If you have an older device, it may not support the latest standards for the fastest speeds.

Might try a competitor or wait for cheaper wifi 7. I do get my full bandwidth down from the ISP now. An improvement over the regular nest.

I have seen a huge difference with my WiFi speed. I can finally connect multiple things to my WiFi and my stream speed is not effective. I will recommend this to anyone over the other mesh products out there.

The other Plus side of having this product is that you can remotely monitor and manage your network settings. I bought these as open box for a fraction of the price!

I have an electric car and trying to do the updates my wifi was not reaching. It reach now but still not that strong.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The actual performance of the mesh wifi is significantly better than the previous version, however going from the previous version, however it doesn't seem like Google thought that anyone would upgrade the wifi. Had to delete all of the cameras, wifi, and nest protect devices from the app and re-install them before everything worked again. Was overly (and unnecessarily) time consuming. There should be a better way to replace a mesh system and this is not what I would consider normal as our other property (using an Aruba device) I could swap networks with ease.

But I had to upgrade to a 3-pack in order to get decent service at the far end of a 2200 sq ft house! That’s so much less than advertised.

Congestion issues may be affected by various factors, including Wi-Fi interference and physical barriers, which can limit the range and cause a slower connection to the internet. We recommend placing your device within a line of sight to improve signal reception. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, it's advisable not to place a mesh router in that exact spot. Instead, position it halfway in that direction. Using the latest firmware available, only seeing 800 Mbps at the router (wired). Randomly getting 50 Mbps down 6 feet away from the satellite even though the Nest app reports an excellent wireless backhaul connection. Have to turn on/off the wireless on the device to fix the issue temporarily, but still getting middling speeds. Setup was easy using the app. Very limited customization available and no web interface. Don't forget to enable WPA3 if you want to use WiFi 6E. Replaced this with an Orbi setup. Much more expensive, but I'm getting 400 down OUTSIDE of the home. Can stream music now in the garage without using data!
