I haven't had any issues as of yet. The set up was super easy. I think just about anyone can install this router.

If you’re like me and looking for a reliable mesh WiFi network that was top of the line and capable of your new high speed internet (2 or 5 GBps) this product is WRONG FOR YOU. I made this mistake. It’s a $400 mistake. Don’t be like me. Do your research. There are much better wifi products out there for mesh networks at speeds over 1 GB.

If your modem is a modem/router combo, we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo or putting it in Bridge mode to avoid Double NAT as it may cause connectivity issues. When you enable bridge mode on your ISP combo, it'll turn off its NAT and allow your Wifi device to be the sole device that performs NAT. If you have 2 separate ISP devices, a modem and router, turn off and unplug the ISP-provided router, then connect your modem directly to your Nest Wifi Pro.

For anyone else, no so great. The Google home app is very limited when it comes to features and settings. The mesh connection is less than desirable. Advertised as wifi 6 the speeds are very inconsistent and your devices will constantly be switching between 2.4 and 5ghz bands as theres no way to lock it in leaving you aggravated and cheated if you have any connection greater than 54mbps. I was fooled by the pro wording on the box. Don’t be like me.

Do not purchase. Waste of money

I’m literally getting 1/2 the speeds I used to get on my old Google mesh network. I have Fios and pay for 2gb. I’m lucky if I get 400 over 300 with these. On my old Google mesh network I would get 900 over 800 WiFi speeds.

Google WiFi has great range. Super easy UI. Never going back!

It is the usual story. Big company thinks they know what you need more than you do, and when you try to deviate at all their offshore support can't help because it isn't in their script.

Always dropped connection, and does not work with T mobile well. But then again i had problems with it on my Spectrum also.

Returned! GoogleHome App/support is not fun.

Google Home App would not complete after hours of troubleshooting, resetting, restarting, and trying 20xs. Tried all three units in the box, none would complete. Multiple errors and when we finally got past the error messages the devices would not read the ethernet cable connection to the modem. Very frustrating, especially since we have been using an older version of google mesh for years and were excited to upgrade to the pro. Plugged our old mesh in and set back up in minutes no problem. Called our service provide they confirmed capability, our services were working and no issues with modem.
