I really like the results of changing to the google nest pro WiFi mesh. It has really worked great and we have unbelievable speeds. We even have strong speeds out by our pool.

I've had the Nest WiFi Pro installed in my home for a week now and they have been amazing. I bought the 2-pack and have one on each floor to cover my whole house well. As soon as I installed these I instantly saw a difference. I have a big smart home (lots of devices) and I have a couple cameras that are outside. My previous router (the original Linksys Velop) was about 6 years old and started showing its age. My cameras weren't getting the strongest connection anymore and a couple of my Lifx smart lights were becoming very slow to respond to commands. As soon as I had both of my Nest WiFi Pro installed all of my connection issues disappeared. My cameras are no longer struggling to show me live views and my lights are all lightning fast to respond. A few things that I really like about the Nest WiFi Pro are that you can turn the status light on the front of the routers off if you don't want that white light shining (especially if you have your router out in the open), I like that you can perform a speed test on the individual devices that you have connected to your router and not just the main router's speeds from the modem, and I really like that there is a setting to be notified every time a new device is added to your network. This is great for me knowing that the Leviton smart dimmer switch that I just installed last night has been properly connected, but it can also let me know if a device that I am unaware of has gotten onto my network and I can immediately block that device from accessing my network further. I would say the only thing I don't like about these routers is that the 2-pack only comes in white. I think I would have liked a different color, but that is just a cosmetic thing. It has no influence on the performance of the router.

I replaced my router with the Google-Nest Wifi Mesh router set of 3 and now have much higher download speed in every room in our house. Download speed was around 80 Mega bits / second in one of the rooms depending on the time of day. Now its around 400 Mb/s. In pool room, its sometimes up to 600 Mb/s. All 3 routers were easy to set up using the Google home app.

I bought the Google Wifi to replace my old Nest Wifi product. I had to do some moving of the wifi routers and test the internet speeds to gwt the optimal internet speeds, but it was worth it. I have upped my qifi feom about 72 Mbps to upwards of 350 Mbps on my 400 Mbps home internet. I am very pleased with this product! Additionally, the Google Wifi is easy to setup with its step by step inatructions and the easy to use Home app.

East to setup! I went with Google Wifi Pro because of the 6e backhauling capability. This alleviates congestion over the 2.4 and 5g bands with wifi systems without a dedicated backhauling network. I also game and work from home with lots of UCaaS type traffic, so it's nice to be able to prioritize Gaming and call traffic. What I will say is this is for the set it and forget consumer. I've owned high end gaming routers and always liked the features to be able to make tweeks for my use, but what I found is it really makes no measurable difference (for me). I need whole home coverage and to be able to put LOTS of IOT devices on my network. In order to have good gaming quality and call quality though, no matter how good marketing says the router/mesh network is, if you put cameras on that network and you also have 4 apple TV's in the house, you WILL have a laggy network. You will notice it in quality of your streaming services. I found myself having to turn off my cameras and always on my kids for leaving the TV/IPADs running for background noise. Here's how I solved it! I setup 4 networks and 2 separate WIFI systems. I run the Google Nest WIFI and Google Nest WIFI Pro! The pro network runs my main network and the IOT network. This separates my thermostats, dishwasher, lights, Apple TV, etc from my computers and gaming devices. But this wasn't enough when I added cameras, so I created another "home" in Google Home and stood up my old Google Nest Wifi as a strictly camera network. I run ALL of this over a T-Mobile 5G network perfectly. By separating the traffic over multiple networks (and 2 Google Nest WIFI routers), it reduces the noisiness you will get when trying to shove signals from the 50+ devices (in my case) over a single router (even if you divide it over the 2 available networks). Using your guest network helped some, but I personally reached a point when devices were noticeably slow to respond (ie trying to see video in my sons room or search the internet, while the TVs are running and my wife is on a business call). Now, everything work great! You would think the 2 wifi systems would conflict, but the wifi systems are good at selecting wifi channels that are not congested... and I have the 2 router systems sitting right next to each other in each room. 3 Pro and 3 non-pro and no you can't connect them together.

Really useful, you connect one of these guys to your router and the other can be placed wherever you want in your house. The setup is fairly simple. My only complaint is if your original router is bugging out, so will the google mesh.

For a cheap mesh system this actually gets the job done. Much faster speeds than my previous Wifi 6 setup. The speeds through the 6e band are quite impressive. Range is also very impressive while the signal strength can be hit or miss, however even when it shows a couple bars, my speeds are rarely noticeably hindered.

I have tried a bunch of extensions. They never worked properly in our house. The Wi-fi Pro 6e was installed in no time at all. Basically plug and play. They are placed in 3 different rooms. I now get MORE speed than I pay for. I get equal speed in every room in the house and even in my backyard.

This gave me better speed than the orignal 2016 Google WIFi it replaced, but the range wasn’t as good and the speed was less than expexted. My router from my ISP gets around 800 mbps down but i got about half that with this. I had much better results with a different WiFi 6e mesh router. On the plus side, the unit looks nice, it has a simple ser up, and you don’t need to download a new app if you already use Google home.

It is literally plug and play. It is a great product and it sets up all buy itself. Just make sure if you are an AT&T customer to disable both 2.4 and 5 GHz transmitters from the AT&T router before you plug it in. It sets it's self up with just a few taps from the Google Home app. Definitely a must and it's coverage is great. I would say better than the Nighthawk.

I give it 5 stars on the simple setup by itself. I had the previous generation which was good but this version is better. We have not had any issues and everything is working perfectly. We also have Google Webpass. The speed and flawless system is fantastic. My wife works from home and I do once a week. No issues. Highly recommend.

Despite the small sq footage of my apartment, the layout makes it difficult to get a strong signal to all of my devices. Especially with two PC games running simultaneously, multiple WiFi security cameras, smart thermostats, and various other connected devices, these have greatly improved the speeds of my network overall. I used 5 around various parts of the house to replace the single access point provided by my ISP. I am now able to achieve gigabit speeds with no dead zones anywhere, and the setup is super simple with the Google Home app. It guides you through adding each device, and allows you to test the speed and mesh connection directly through the app. In addition, you can add all the members of your household, so that everyone has access without having to share an account. The ability to set up a guest network with a separate SSID and password may also be convenient to some. Each device also has the ability to hardwire into the access point, which I have found makes for a more reliable and slightly faster connection, though increases in speed doing so may vary depending on your wireless card.
