The charge lasts a month and it does everything we need! Easy to install too!

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though the google home app leaves much to be desired I had a generally positive experience with this doorbell for 12 months. About 2 weeks after the warranty expired, the unit randomly disconnected in the middle of the day and completely bricked with no power. Google says its an internal hardware issue and refuses to address the issue further as it is recently out of warranty by a couple weeks. They also refuse to acknowledge if any updates were recently sent that might have caused an issue. They further claimed they have no records of other such issues but a quick google search will tell you that is not accurate. Overall, not worth the money for barely a year of service. Also, remember when your doorbell breaks to cancel your Nest Aware subscription because they'll keep charging you even if you have nothing to use it on.

It comes with free 3 hrs of video recording.. So absolutely useful than just a notification when someone is at the door
