Something needs to be done about the mounting

Which would not be that big of a deal, but it is impossibly painful to mount., which you have to do every couple of weeks, when the device needs to be re-charged. I phoned the doorbell for a couple of months, had to charge four times. Finally, it dismounted and broke.

Been approx a year and i dont have any complaints. Its wireless so youll need to charge it every month or so depending on the amount of use. Would definitely buy it again.

In addition, it can even alert you of a package and alerts you again once the package is gone. I seemed easy to be removed/stolen, hopefully won't happen to me.

Good but....

It will tell you the charge percentage and an estimated time til recharge. One of the things I don't like is that the light around the button and the green light activates everytime motion is detected. You cannot turn this off.

Could be better

For the size you would think the battery on this would last forever. We were lucky we got 3 weeks out of it. Not sure what settings people used to get months and months, maybe only record when the door bell is pressed but we like to monitor packages so the battery drains so fast. We ended up hardwiring it and so far it's a huge improvement though for some reason the battery still drains. I would get the hardwired version if I had to do it again.

The new Google Nest wireless doorbell truly exceeded expectations. It announces who is at the door, recognizes delivery people with packages, also detects familiar faces, etc.

A security camera door bell is a must these days and having one from google is the best especially if you have the nest display and nest app.
