When it works, it's fine. Not happy about the subscription service; that's a hidden cost you don't realize you need. Holds a charge, okay, but not great. I only got it because everything else is Google brand in my house.

The nest door bell can be wired or battery powered. The battery seems to last for a few weeks if you record a lot of footage. The quality is also very good plus adding it to Google Home is pretty simple.

I love this thing! I was somewhat skeptical on the use of it at first, but it has been a great addition. I hardwired it so can't speak to the battery life. The picture quality is excellent, even at night (though I do have landscape lighting that helps).

I like how it works and how easy it is to set up. I wish the battery life was longer.

Installation and setup was easy. Let's me know if someone is on the porch even if they don't ring the doorbell. This is handy since most delivery drivers don't knock when they leave a package It is nice to be able to go back and review activity.

I absolutely love this! It connects to my Google home hub and it shows the picture on the screen. Also love how it uses my googles as the speakers for the door bell chime. Easy to install and set up. Wouldn’t go with anything else

The Geek Squad did an efficient and quick install, and I was able to add the device to my existing Google Nest app with no trouble. Everything working fine.

Great quality picture and ok battery life. ofcouse we all would like more battery life but this is acceptable.

Overall the functionality of the doorbell is amazing with great quality. There is no question or issue with the length of battery life. The only concern I have are specifically with the wired and battery capability.If the wires for your previous Doraville aren’t necessarily the strongest the connectors provided with his doorbell are too strong and will continuously break the wire. In light of this I have a resorted to using only the battery, option although my doorbell was previously wired with a compatible smart device

Love the camera and how it works with my Google hubs... However, my condo won't allow for screwing into my doorframe.

It does its intended purpose and adds a little extra sense of security. 2to3 weeks on one charge then maybe 2hrs or so its charged and back outside.

I really liked that the versatility with this model. You can choose to have it wired or run through the battery. Installation was straight forward and only took about 20 minutes.

This is the best doorbell ever. I love it. I can easily see who is at the door when I need to. I live in a town where I have to be careful because I have 3 granddaughters that we have to watch at all times.

This doorbell has been especially easy to install and start using. I'm not the most handy person with installs but I did not have any trouble getting unit installed and then setup on the app. I was up and running in reasonable amount of time.

Simple setup and will trickle charge itself if wired to your doorbell. I recommend tinkering with the settings if you live on a high traffic street/sidewalk as the battery will still eventually die if you're capturing too many events

Doorbell is great. Good camera quality and features. Easy to install. Battery life is surprisingly long, but takes a while to charge fully.

Great purchase. I feel much safer, knowing that I can see who’s coming and going from my front porch. I have purchased these for two of my homes. Highly recommended!

We purchased the nest wifi video doorbell (battery operated) because the previous owner of our house had cut out the wires for the existing doorbell. I was looking forward to the camera being on the same Google Home account as the rest of our devices in the house. Over the past year, I've learned that the video quality is poor compared to Ring. The battery life is poor (made worse by extreme heat/cold ambient temperatures) also made even worse by the fact that you have to remove the entire device to recharge (which can take up to 10+ hours to recharge). Even with ideal weather, the battery only lasts a little over a week. We have upgraded to a Ring Battery Plus camera that has an easy to remove/replace battery so we can have a backup fully charged. Also, the Ring has better image quality and a wider view angle. Skip the Nest, buy a Ring.
