Doorbell mistake

I also got 2 HUBs so the primary rooms they're in they can easily just see who's at the door. They're retired and have knees injuries so love this is helping them!

It will also often loose connection for hours at a time despite the signal being strong. Randomly, notifications are very delayed, and it takes even longer for the video of events in the app history to show up even after the notification, sometimes. Battery life also estimates about 3 WEEKS, not months, with very little activity (one event per day) and under nominal conditions. The only thing that seems to consistently work is the doorbell button itself. Not at all worth the price. Maybe at $50.

About 2 weeks after the warranty expired, the unit randomly disconnected in the middle of the day and completely bricked with no power. Google says its an internal hardware issue and refuses to address the issue further as it is recently out of warranty by a couple weeks. They also refuse to acknowledge if any updates were recently sent that might have caused an issue. They further claimed they have no records of other such issues but a quick google search will tell you that is not accurate. Overall, not worth the money for barely a year of service. Also, remember when your doorbell breaks to cancel your Nest Aware subscription because they'll keep charging you even if you have nothing to use it on.
