Worth The Price, Great Quality

The battery life is amazing. The connectivity and integration into the Google ecosystem is exactly what I was looking for and if your goal is to have one system, this is it.

Would have liked to have a recommendation that didnt include screws that stripped immediately when design requires constant removal.

Easy reliable video doorbell

Easy to install and even the one unit that is in the hot Sun where temperatures in the shade is 100, still functions.

Had arlo before this and i was happy but what made me switch is that my home is google setup. This works well with hub, mini speakers, and nest aware.

Not happy about the subscription service; that's a hidden cost you don't realize you need. Holds a charge, okay, but not great. I only got it because everything else is Google brand in my house.

Best doorbell camera ever!

Great camera quality and range. The smart system tells you exactly whos at the door and when you get a delivery. 10/10 recommend.

Only con is it doesn’t currently integrate into the Nest app. Only Google home which limits some functionality. Google is supposed to be working on it.

The battery lasts about a week on a some what busy road. It is good with facial recognition. The things i hate are it doesn't have a costom ring tone like ring camera and when the doorbell button is used the device itself makes a noise like some McDonald's toy and doesn't send a notification to your phone.

We hear your concerns about having a custom ringtone when the doorbell button is pressed, and we’ve taken note of your feedback for future improvements. Meanwhile, you can choose which events your doorbell can detect and record (people, motion, package, etc.). From there, you (and each member of your home) can decide which of those events to get notifications for. If an event is turned off, you won’t get notifications for that kind of activity. You can also change the settings like adjusting video quality, wake-up sensitivity, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. Amazing video quality

The quality of the video is amazing. we love the fact that we can set alerts to people and vehicles aswell. It's amazing and we couldn't be happier with it!!!!!!

Just installed and haven't seen all the features yet - does require a subscription to save video but worth the nominal amount. A bit larger than I expected but I suppose that leaves room for batteries?

Great doorbell

Nest Doorbell (battery) can do visitor announcements on a Google Assistant-enabled speaker or display or the indoor chime. Also, in addition to standard themes or sounds, seasonal doorbell themes are available around some holidays. You can change the theme or set a different chime sound in the app’s doorbell settings, where it automatically goes back after the default tone after the holiday.

Great except didn't meet battery expectations.

Much needed upgrade

But showing her we do need the hub part too. So we can see on the monitor. And it’s loud enough where you can tell someone is at the door.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oops, I didn't realize there are 2 versions, I meant to get the wired one apparently. With that being said, this thing is a beast! It's like 30% bigger than my Arlo doorbell. I have yet to install it but I have the same issue as I did going to Arlo, they don't make these things for legacy doorbell retrofits, so my house was built in the 80's and had a standard size hole and mounts in stucco, and I'm not comfortable drilling and mounting in stucco, these doorbells don't ever account for that. Also, a major minus for this is that the battery won't charge off the existing doorbell wiring. If the current transformer can power my Arlo why can't it feed charge to the Nest's battery? I don't need another thing around to unmount and charge periodically. I'm sure this is great for places that have no doorbell or for alternate locations, but not a great start to this product, may return for the wired version
