Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stay away from google nest camera's as google will not honor their warranty. i've only owned this camera 2 months and while trying to dismount the doorbell camera from the mounting plate the face of the camera fell apart in my and and the ribbon wire broke. also, the batteries only got about a one month runtime, so it's kind of an important that the camera stayed together when it needs removed, so often for recharging. Why they couldn't have put a slot on the side of the camera for charging in place I have no idea

Will need google home app to connect the device and I recommend getting some google nest hubs to act as speakers for when someone rings the door bell.

Maybe read the box before buying?

The Doorbell’s camera is good quality and does a pretty good job at identifying when packages are dropped off. The google home app is user-friendly and intuitive.

Quality is nice and field of view definitely wraps around all of my entry. Very wide. Everyone loves the special holiday ringtones and my google home devices at home respond quickly with the doorbell.

Probably not but no glaring flaws. At least not for me. I hard wired it which was extremely easy. Love the integration with my Google home app and products. Also it looks great!

I have one for my house, and when a friend needed one, I picked up one and installed it for her. Installation can be challenging depending depending on the location you need it. For me, there was no existing doorbell, so I also purchased the solar charger for it. For my friend, it replaced her existing door bell and was able to hardwire. It also works great with her existing chime. Very happy with the product and would recommend.

They do provide a qr code which takes you to a youtube video, butnit still left a few issues unaddressed such as how best to incorporate the house wiring as an option. Also there was no provision of sny operating instructions leaving one to learn as you go.

The battery lasts long enough for me to charge it every 4 weeks. Great for apartments, you can buy a screw free mount anywhere.
