    This is an add-on to the 3-piece Nest Wifi that I installed a few months ago. I had one problem area in the house and the option was to install another satellite or another router. I installed the router because I had a ethernet cat5e cable in that area. This allowed a wired connection at that location and created an additional backhaul path.
