I wanted to upgrade the main hub and extend the reach of the entire system. I did have to re-set the entire wi-fi system and then re-create it, which did take some time. But once done, I am getting even better speeds throughout the house.

The integration of WPA3 is a good feature, the esthetics is really good to be placed anywhere without taking too much space.

We had one already but needed a second one for our second floor. I think this is an awesome product. Our Wi-Fi signal is very strong after we installed this. Highly recommend!

Could be our internet provider....we don't have the max speed but we don't have the minimum either. Don't feel when you spend this price point that you should need 2 additional units.

Ideally, one Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2,200 sqft while a Nest Wifi point can cover up to 1,600 sqft. a But where they are placed, the layout of your house, and physical obstructions like furniture can impact the total coverage. Stable router

The initial setup process was bit of a pain since the google home app couldn’t set it up correctly. I later learnt that their nest service might have been down :(. I bought more of these instead of the WiFi points to boost my mesh signal. Great connections and stability throughout my trilevel home.

So I finally gave in and added another. I had to call google tech support to set this one up as the primary and move the older one to another room, but they were extremely helpful!

I was not expecting the dramatic performance increase I got when switching to the new router. My wireless speeds are easily double what I was getting previously.

I have about 20 wifi devices and nothing has dropped since buying this. I can even get signal outside. Speed test results are 900mb for both upload/download. I would highly recommend this to others. Very easy set up too.

I am hoping that as I get to know this set up better it will be easier to discover why. I am not new to the apps used, Google wifi and Google Home as my last router was the On Hub.

However when I would run a test on any of my devices I never peaked at more than 250mbps. On average I was only doing about 40-80 in terms of speed. Very easy to set up though.

There are several reasons why this can be happening and we would like to assist you in resolving this. To start with, you can take a look at the following factors and troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.
- The internet speed from your provider may be currently slower than expected. Please check with your ISP to make sure your modem is indeed delivering the expected download and upload speeds.
- Building materials and other objects located between your router and Wi-Fi points or between your Wi-Fi points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
- There could be congestion on your Wi-Fi network if you have many connected devices to the network. As all these devices consume a portion of your available Wi-Fi bandwidth, your laptop may not get high speeds. You can try relieving the network by disconnecting some of the devices to see if this would increase the Wi-Fi speed for your laptop.
- Restarting your modem can fix internet connection problems, improve slow performance and resolve common wireless issues. Even if your modem appears to be working correctly, you may need to restart it to establish a secure connection to the Wi-Fi point.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a nest wifi router in 2021 to "upgrade" my existing Google Wifi system. Big Mistake. It keeps randomly dropping the internet, sometimes several times a day, sometimes several times an hour. I worked with my ISP tech support and Google tech support. Google kept asking me to try different things, some of which were quite technical (enable port forwarding on port 5222 with UDP protocol). Even after jumping through all those hoops it still kept falling over. I see on user forums that many google nest wifi users have the same issue. I replaced the nest wifi with a rival system which has given me no problems so far.

I ask a friend with the same problem and recomend it me this. I bought it because I'm trying to make my apt smart, since I use google home and mini, I preffered to stay with the google network.
