Customers are saying
Customers highly value the Nest Wifi's ease of use, extensive coverage, and strong signal, with many praising its simple setup and improved performance. Positive feedback frequently highlights the system's reliable connectivity and extended range. While some find the price to be a drawback, the majority of users report a positive experience. A few users experienced compatibility issues or lag, but these were less frequently reported than the positive aspects.

Disappointing coverage even with three routers.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m actually disappointed. I had been using a Netgear AC1900 placed in the center of my 1000sq ft home and wanted to expand my signal further in the yard and strengthen my signal to the ring doorbell. I bought 3 Nest wifi routers and connected each of them to the ethernet. The installation and set up is very simple via the Google Home app. My signal is much faster but the range is actually worse. I have a router placed on each end of my main level and one on the basement level and get 3-4 out of 5 bars of reception 5-10 feet away from each point. I wish I had gone with another product for better range. I would not buy this product unless you live in a small apartment.

Amazing speed increase over last generation

Excellent Router
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to with my ATT UVerse Fiber Modem / Router combo. The router component was pretty mediocre so I routed the connection to the Nest Wifi node instead and my wifi performance has nearly doubled.

Mesh is cool
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google Wif is pretty cool, I DO NOT like the the app but it functions so I will get used to it. This is the 2nd one I bought and it adds great coverage to the rest of the house. If you are looking to extend network, this is great for the mesh system.

Meshes well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting this device up in a mesh configuration is perhaps the best thing I have ever done. Configuration is epically simple, I will likely buy another in the future. Only draw back is the short range.

Works great! Setup could be easier.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! Setup was a little complicated, the documentation is hidden and confusing. Was trying to setup 3 routers via ethernet, was able to, but after reading a ton and trial and error.

Nest WiFi with spectrum kind of sucks.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google WiFi generation before the nest worked great, it solved all the problems I was having at the time, I figured I’d upgrade to the nest seeing the specs and processing power and just everything was better but for some reason I’ve had issue after issue using the nest WiFi with spectrum... I upgraded my modem from the modem provided by spectrum and the nest started to work better but has gradually slowed down and given me more issues. I switched back to the google wifi pucks and downgraded from 1Gbps to 400 Mbps and get better service... I think it’s spectrum more than anything but I have recommended these to everyone I know.

Excellent WiFi router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a big fan of Google products already. This router was very easy to set up and works well with google home and allows you to control your smart devices with ease through a single app.

Nest WIFI
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was easy using downloaded app on my iPhone. I purchased two. The second one is connected via ethernet cable & used as a wireless access point in my basement where signal was weak.

Best wifi router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google really makes my wifi experience like never before. It doesn't matter you have Cincinnati Bell Fioptics or Spectrum Cable, both work great for streaming TV, games and music all at the same time.

Just ok router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router since I have already a couple of items built by Google. To my surprise there is a problem with the devices that use the 2.4 GHz which at some point lost connectivity and never joined the network again. After a long conversation with Google support I had to change the DNS settings for the 2.4 GHz band. Not a very good experience. I'm encouraging Google to review their products plus give more troubleshooting instructions for them online. Another low point is that it has only 1 ethernet connector. If you have more than one device that needs ethernet connection you need to add an ethernet switch to your network.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using this with Google Pucks. Good router but lacks few options
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good router but only issue is smart routing. There is no option to shift to 5G or 2.4G manually. Router automatically determine the bandwidth speeds which when compared to other top routers (netgear / TP-link)

Want to Love It
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have mostly all Google products and made the switch to the Google Nest from a Netgear R7000 which had firmware that you couldn't rely on any longer. I went to the Nest router due to the ease of using the Home app and setup was easy. Was it too easy is the question. The router has been good but it's suspect at times for dropped devices. Tonight in fact I leave home and my whole network went down about an hour after I left. Unbelievable! It wasn't the cable company or power outage. It was the router. This is an absolute no no. I am very disappointed with this as I've liked this router. Today you need reliability with smart home items. I may have to return it.
