While the Nest Wifi can be used as a standalone system, you can have it combined with Google Wifi points or Nest Wifi for additional coverage. You can add Google Wifi points to a Nest Wifi network or create a new network with both devices in the Google Home app. For the best possible Wi-Fi range and network speed, we recommend using your Nest Wifi router as the primary point in your combined Wi-Fi network.

With a Spectrum modem-router combo, you can place it in bridge mode before connecting it to your Nest Wifi. If you have a separate Spectrum modem and router, simply replace the existing Spectrum router with the Google Nest Wifi and connect it to the Spectrum modem.
