Looks easy to setup and quick unless you are interfacing across non google equipment. My scan would not work and reading the password was difficult. Interfacing required working through help function and finding out how to reset settings.

Not happy, I had to buy a new router because the first one just died. That was after spending hours on the phone with customer service. They tried their best and we're nice to deal with.

Garbage! Stay far away. Week signal, horrible support from Google. Randomly disconnects and trying to contact google is next to impossible.

I had the google wifi before and they work better. This unit did not improve dramatically over my existing AT&T modem. I took then back. Save you money specialy if your house has concrete walls and a big backyard.

Tried to hook up with my existing "Google WIFI" points and took hours of trial and error to finally connect them. Still not able to connect with my Sonos. Would not buy unless you are starting from scratch.

Bottom line is that my 7 year old router, for which this router was a replacement, was more reliable and faster than this router. I find myself having to restart it every other day because WiFi drops.

I have a Verizon Fios Router that had two wifi bands, one 2.4 and the other 5g. I have 1gb service. I turned off it's wifi and installed two Nest wifi routers, one acting as the mesh router connected directly to the Fios router and sitting right next to it in my upstairs office. The other is acting as a point down in my dining room on the 1st floor. The house is about 2600sf center hall colonial. What I'm seeing is that speeds are "slow" and slower at times. Very inconsistent using my cell phone and speedtest and Dr Wifi. The Nest wifi app is reading 800mbps+ in the Nest router connected to the Fios router so I know the speedy signal is getting to that device. However, the best I get sitting directly in front of the Nest router is about 250. Down in my dining room and kitchen I'm getting max 200 but mostly lower. At times it even sinks below 100! I was expecting 600 or so in my office and 400 to 500 downstairs...I don't think this is out of bounds considering what I've read in reviews. My son installed a Netgear Orbi at his house with Fios also and 200mbps service...he is actually getting higher speeds than me...I tested it on my phone and it's at approx 300! I'm considering taking this back to Best Buy and getting an Orbi or an Asus unless someone can tell me what I might do to fix this. I spoke to online support at Best Buy and they told me all the usual newbie stuff like stand closer to the unit when you are testing (really?). Only other "trick" was to reboot everything which I already did which did bring the speeds from 30mbps up to the current 200-300. I'll try that one more time but if no help then it's back to the store. Very disappointed.

Actually what we got is not compatible with the system we have. You must buy the full thing for it to work. We did not return the product

Great signal but had to send it back since there are no Ethernet ports on the additional points and the main unit has only one Ethernet ports very disappointed!! I love the signal strength and the download and upload and also didn't like the idea of the unit has embedded microphones.

I set it up, and really like the mesh network. It made a difference, however I am supposed to get 1000MB/S (which I get around 950 when hooked up) but wireless, I can only get up to ~300. Tried lots of different things, but nothing seems to help. Luckily that speed seems to be enough for me, but disappointing not to get the full speed. Would return but I spent so much setting it up I am just living with it.

bought to improve mesh network in a room that struggles with signal. it improved it slightly. not as much as i expected. not sure why or if i did something wrong

The Google name seems to bear out higher pricing but this router integrated relatively easily with online support assistance. Provided instructions were not effective.

Works good when it works. Constantly disconnects from our network and needs completely restarted to re connect. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Does ok but it does not really strengthen your signal much as it has to be plugged into your router. Use a real extender, if that is what you need

I like the merchandise; it is easy to set up. In the room with the Google the internet is off the charts

I returned this router simply because i was not getting the speeds i was paying for from my service provider. Yes it is true wifi is never as fast as hard wired ethernet cable, but other products in this same price point will net you much higher wifi speeds. This just isn’t worth the money in my opinion.

No wifi 6 impacted my decision. Would definitely have preferred more control over settings too.

It works with most cameras but keeps going off line and has to be reset. Geek squad coming back again to troubleshoot

Works as says. Only 2 drops so far. But range is shorter then states

It would have been great if the Google told you that if you will be using this with your PS4 that it will work horribly. It worked perfectly for all other devices and streaming. Google and PS4 do not mesh with one another. I would highly recommend the EERO Pro.
