      Hi there, Cable. Sorry you're running into slower speeds with the Nest Wifi Pro. There could be a few things impacting your connection — here are some ways to improve this:

      1. Your device is far from your router: often moving your device closer to your router or point will result in improved speeds.
      2. Building materials and other objects may slow your connection: if possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
      3. Some devices do not support the faster Wi-Fi standards: speed is dependent on both the router or point and the device that is connected to it. If you have an older device, it’s likely it won’t support the latest standards for the fastest speeds.

    Works fine, but definitely not a pro version. Can’t select specific channels. Go with something else, unless all you care about is easy setup

    Pro is a horrible word to use on these. Yes, they allegedly have 6E wi-fi capability but these are only useful at all if you have less than 1 gig internet. Unlike similar priced mesh systems that have 2.5 gig lan ports (or 5gig for a little more money) these have an outdated 1 gig port. So no matter how fast your internet is, the best you can hope for is around 800mbps. Using the TP Deco I am now getting 1.5 to 2.0 gbps at my PC.

    Didn’t work, set up failed every time

    Didn’t work as well as the older model and then the access points wouldn’t connect to each other. Spent about four hours trying to get them to talk and didn’t work at all. Going to stick with the old Nest Wi-Fi stuff.

      The placement of your Wi-Fi router and points is vital to have reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home. Points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf. You can also give these steps a try to see if the connectivity will improve:
      - Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
      - Repositioning the points to avoid obstructions like walls, doors, and aquariums can improve performance.
      - Make sure all unused devices are off and not draining bandwidth with large downloads.
      - Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
      - Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points.

    Not working with my Spectrum modem. I’ll update the review if I can get it to work. It’s possible I just got unlucky with a defective unit, but I had an Eero system before and it worked great.

    Got to the point where it was so hot it hurt to touch and wifi speeds kept dropping into the 15mbps range. Probably a faulty unit but still kind of worrisome

    Purchased and set up today then spent an hour troubleshooting why my network speed was half my previous wifi 6 setup. Its my fault for assuming that a device advertising mutli gigabit wifi would be able to connect to a multi gigabit wan but thats not the case for this. Google saw fit to only have gigabit Ethernet ports. Do yourself a favor and pass on this product, conplete waste of time and money.

    Do not buy. Needs daily reboot or will slow down

    I do not recommend purchasing this product. It works well for a couple days and then the speed slows waaaaaaaay down. The only way to fix is by rebooting the router. But this router doesn't have a built in way to schedule a reboot. Search on Google and you'll find plenty of people having this exact same issue. I've been unable to find a solution and cannot return the product. For $300 you should purchase another router
