    Amazing Mesh System

    After I updated my regular router with extender for the Google Nest Wifi Pro I noticed an incredible changed on my internet connection. It distributed the bandwidth according to the device needs. It is great !

    Works great, could use some tweaks to device prioritization tweaks and customization options but overall they work great and for pretty cheap compared to other wifi 6e mesh router systems

    Greatly increased my Wi-Fi capabilities increased. My megabytes per second download and upload speeds by about 9 and 1/2 times original

    Terrible Streaming Performance

    I bought these to upgrade from the Google Nest Routers when I got 2 Gig fiber. I have had nothing but problems with them. Setup wasn't bad but streaming was a nightmare. Speed tests on the hardwired router were over 1 gig and wireless was around 900 yet I could not stream Netflix or Disney without constant buffering. I called the Google help line in excess of 10 times but they were completely useless. Every time I called they insisted that I factory reset the system and go through the same simple steps that I did the previous calls and I could never get a call back from a supervisor. After a few months I gave up and bought Asus routers.

    Not ready for prime time

    It took me *hours* to setup the system on Saturday. The first wifi point wouldn't setup within the Home app. It kept flashing slow yellow, indicating the Nest WiFi Pro wasn't getting a signal from the modem. I reset my modem from my ISP, rebooted it and the Nest WiFi Pro several times, etc., all to no avail. By the time I called Nest support and got connected with their Wifi department, somehow it started to initialize the setup and I was able to get it and the 3 satellite points up and running then within 15 minutes. Fast forward to the next morning, the internet dropped out shortly after waking up. HOURS later talking to Nest support, getting dropped and bounced around, I managed to get it running again. Fast forward to Monday morning, the same thing - internet cut out. Talked to my ISP for an hour, no issues on their end. Talked to my modem manufacturer, no settings need to be changed - try resetting it, that's all. Talked to Nest support, submitted feedback with diagnostics for their elevated support team to analyze... By the time they responded that rebooting the modem and router should be all that's needed to fix it (which I'd done about 50 times already), I had gotten it back up and running again. When I woke up this morning to it being out again, I reset all the points and reinstalled my Nest Wifi system I had before. Had it up and running within 10 minutes, found the IP signal from my modem as soon as it connected. Nest Wifi Pro clearly has some hardware or software issues, and Google should have done more testing before putting this product to market.

    Nest Wifi Pro slower than previous models.

    Nest Wifi Pro 6e only get half the speed of gigabit internet even previous model Nest Wifi 5 gets at least 800mbps out of gigabit.

We suggest checking the placement of your Wi-Fi router and points which are vital to have reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home. As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. If the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.

      You can also try these steps below that can improve your overall experience:
      - Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
      - Repositioning the points to avoid obstructions like walls, doors, and aquariums can improve performance.
      - Make sure all unused devices are off and not draining bandwidth with large downloads.
      - Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
      - Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points.

    Not Consistent whatsoever

    This product works here and there but 1) ethernet or not, you will get the exact same speed to your destined device (which is absolutely stupid). 2) Prioritizing a device in the app does NOTHING. 3) It is 100% NOT worth the value. The three pack should be $78.98, not $300. Therefore I rate this device a 3/10!Would not recommend this product to a living soul.

    Horriable, save your money

    After upgrading from the second generation, I’ve had these for 2-months now, and I wish I never sold the second generations. I’ve been transferred, and have spoke with so many individuals at Google all with the same result, no assistance. I’m signed up to get 1GB from my ISP, and I’m lucky if I get 100MB. I purchased the eero pro’s and problem solved.

    Absolute waste of money

    If you want slower internet. Grab one of these. Had this for months. When it works it works, which is rare. No problem. Ever wanted to have Google say your internet it great and state you are getting 600 Mbps. Then when you test elsewhere due to slow internet you are getting a whopping 19 Mbps. Cannot wait to switch brand and never buy a google product again. And I am an Android user. So disappointed my phones OS is made by this company who puts out junk and sticks with it for years instead of improving. And no previous model isn't any better. Had that also.

    Google Mesh router, Access Points, TRASH!

    ****DO NOT BUY*** bought these a while back, they are a piece of crap! One of the Access Points (APs)have been giving me issues from the beginning and today again, after 2 months of troubleshooting with Google tech support, who by the way have me factory reset all APs and get everything back to running fast, 2 months later, here I go again calling them who have this desired to do this all over again, in other words, factory reset all of them (3 hours of my time) NOT WORTH IT! why can't they send me a new replacement, NO! Never again buy Google Mesh, they are the worst!

    No internet connection over fiber optic internet p

    WiFi mesh routers were not connecting properly once they finally connected and came online they would not pass internet connection. Routers occasionally go offline flash and reconnect but still will not pas internet connection.

    Not stable product and google is bad in update

    Do yourself a favor ! Away from google product. It all lack of transparency to user and future software updaye made product gettong worse and worse. Nest Router got few software updates and its well known it become worse and unstable time by time. You as user will appreciate the stable product instead of a research product done by G engineer without actual know what’s going on.

    Absolutely Terrible

    I don't think I've ever had a product make me and my family as mad as this does. It goes out 10 times a day. It's legit awful. We have a small house, and even with the 3 pack, it's atrocious. I thought that there was no way that our problems came from this router, so we switched from broadband to fiber. Nothing changed. It still goes out constantly. Hard to even finish a streaming movie with this device. Might be our family's last google product.

      Where you put your Wi-Fi router and points matters a lot. Here's some tips that you can try to get the best signal throughout your home:

      - Think "middle ground": Points work best within 2 rooms of each other. Don't stick one in the weak signal zone – place it halfway there instead. Bonus points for putting it up high on a shelf.
      - Move closer: If your device has weak Wi-Fi, bring it closer to the router or point.
      - Clear the path: Walls, doors, and even fish tanks can block the signal. Move points around to avoid obstacles.
      - Power down unused devices: Turn off devices that aren't in use to free up bandwidth.
      - Beware the signal stealers: Microwaves, refrigerators, and other electronics can mess with Wi-Fi. Keep them away from your points.

    Beautfiful Design, Ugly Performance

    I got the first generation Google Wifi set up and it was incredible. Naturally when i saw the Pro come out i immediately jumped at it because I thought it would up the ante. The performce is terrible and i wish i could get my money back
