If you want something super simple to get you decent Wi-Fi coverage for larger homes, you’ll probably be okay with these. However, you have to set these up using the Google Home app. Again, if you’re already in the Google ecosystem, that might not be a big deal, but I’m really, really not a fan of the trend that seems to be manufacturers forcing router configuration to be handled on a phone app. The apps are designed for simplicity, not rich features with advanced (not even that advanced) options. I’d like this system a lot more if I could have more control over things like forcing Ethernet backhaul, disabling or splitting wireless bands, DHCP reservations, etc. Overall, it’s fine - but it’s not lightning fast and it’s not very customizable.

But I had to upgrade to a 3-pack in order to get decent service at the far end of a 2200 sq ft house! That’s so much less than advertised.

Congestion issues may be affected by various factors, including Wi-Fi interference and physical barriers, which can limit the range and cause a slower connection to the internet. We recommend placing your device within a line of sight to improve signal reception. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, it's advisable not to place a mesh router in that exact spot. Instead, position it halfway in that direction. Much improvement over the Nest Wi-Fi. More stable, better coverage, self-aware allows it to troubleshoot and fix network issues itself. Very happy woth the upgrade and highly recommended.

1. Your device is far from your Wifi router: often moving your device closer to your router or point will result in improved connection.
2. Building materials and other objects may slow your connection: if possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
3. Some devices do not support the faster Wi-Fi standards: speed is dependent on both the router or point and the device that is connected to it. If you have an older device, it may not support the latest standards for the fastest speeds.

Needs some research and tinkering with modem settings with att fiber internet. Some devices have been randomly dropping temporarily. Not enough details and customization present in google interface.
