This phone started off well, but after two weeks, it felt like this phone aged five years. It's very slow and laggy; the battery is already degrading and I'm dealing with more bugs than I did on any other Samsung device. This phone sucks, you're better off with a budget Samsung phone

The Google Pixel 10 is a nice phone that has been a big upgrade from my previous device. Setup was easy and fairly quick. It transferred all of the data and apps from my old android device. The Pixel 10 is an ideal size for me with a 6.3” screen. It has a solid construction with a Gorilla Glass screen and scratch and drop resistant body. I tried for several days to go without a protective case, but ultimately ended up getting a case, not because I was worried about damage, but because the polished glass back finish is a bit too slick. This lead to the phone too easily sliding out of my pocket, sliding off my nightstand, and sliding around in the car. So I recommend getting a case to make it easier to grab the phone and ensure that it stays put when you set it down somewhere. I like the sustainability in the Pixel 10’s construction, with 32% recycled materials and 7 years of software support, it’s clearly built to last. Battery life is good and it easily lasts throughout the day. Like many newer devices, there is no headphone jack, so it’s wireless headphones only, which is unfortunate since it would be nice to have the wired option, even if most of your use is with wireless headphones. I have noticed a couple of my apps from my old device don’t work with the pixel 10, hopefully that will be fixed with updates. Other than those 2 apps, Pixel 10 does have good and snappy performance with other apps and works really well. Like with other recent electronic devices Google is heavily pushing their Gemini AI, integrating the AI into most features from phone calls to photo taking. Most of these AI features seem unnecessary and intrusive, fortunately it’s possible to opt out of using them it they are not helpful. I am pleased with the camera which takes nice, crisp images and has useful features but does lack full manual controls. The telephoto and macro lenses work well and are nice to have. The panorama, long exposure, and night sight settings are useful and fun. I am most excited to try out the astrophotography feature but I haven’t been able to get out to a dark sky setting to try it out yet. Overall, I really like my Pixel 10, it works well and has a lot of fun features.
