TLDR: better than moto, Samsung and OP are just kind of better...
So to be honest it's just average. I enjoy my device and didn't return it however the pixel really hasn't entered the territory I feel it's advocates feel it has. I'm a big android fan so naturally felt swayed toward trying a promo for the pixel.
Compared to OneUI8 and current Oxygen OS. it's ok: clean android is a bit overrated- I actually realized how much of Samsung design language I preferred. I feel very limited in the customization process and day to day operation compared to competing brands in this price point. The camera is okay but even in online blind camera tests I feel like the s25 edge (similar promo at the time of purchase) and OP13R had above average performance competing with the base model.
The tensor chip hasn't over heated on me but like a lot of people finding out the GPU needs updates to work with apps is frustrating.
AI features are nice- but pixel has stock android ai optimization that these other listed brands have too.
Journal is an awesome first party app however then you remember Samsung notes is the standard for mobile phone word processors (at least on Android).
I do see why so many iPhone users like- the phone itself is very nice looking. However it's so heavy- I purposely got the smallest one and feel like I now get why phones like the s25 edge and iPhone air are a thing.
Battery life is decent, however it's year one.
Pixel drops bring bugs along with features, and I'm a little nervous for my usual 3-5 year upgrade cycle.
Happy I didn't get a Motorola, a few reps recommended their edge since I was hesitant about financing but I do think pixel is the better take on that software.
Probably going to get an edge if it has a magnet inside of it or OnePlus next time. Who knows maybe Nothing is coming to the US for Verizon unlocked!
Definitely get it if you know you want it- maybe you're the super fan this is designed for.
I would recommend this to a friend

Check the IMEI if you are on a prepay plan

The star removal is not due to the phone. It works great as a little computer, beautiful graphics and fast, great battery, but would not connect to the cellular network with my prepay plan. They were aware I was a prepay customer. Someone should have known I needed a different model. I returned it and bought the same phone directly from the carrier for pre rather than post-pay. BB does not carry the prepay model. It really is a thing, even though it's unlocked.

The Pixel 10 refines everything we love about Google’s phones. Its sleek design, brighter OLED display, and Tensor G4 chip deliver smooth performance and everyday efficiency. The camera remains a standout, with sharper low-light photos and smarter AI editing tools. Battery life comfortably lasts a day, and Android 15 with Google’s AI features makes the phone feel genuinely helpful. It’s not the most powerful flagship, but for clean software, smart features, and world-class photography, the Pixel 10 is an easy recommendation.

Outstanding device for the money. The Pixel 10, in my opinion, is the best value of the Pixel series this year. Even though the Pixel 10 cuts a few corner compared to the Pixel 10 Pro it is great for the everyday user. You get the same Tensor G5 processor. Up to 256gb of storage and plenty of RAM, 12gb, not the 16gb of the Pro The screen is very good and bright and only slightly downgraded in specifications from the 10 Pro. I doubt many people would even notice the differences. The cameras provide excellent pictures, even if the specifications are not as good as the 10 Pro system. In short, you will get an outstanding device at a substantially reduced price compare to the 10 Pro.

Honestly, I swore that I wouldn't buy another pixel. My experience has been one promise or another by Google has been disappointing to say the least. However I was once again forced into a corner of either switching platforms entirely to Apple iPhone or continuing to put up with iffy updates and what can only be described as a continuing beta test with the Pixel hardware and software.
The screen is just substandard in the pixel 10 and if you really want to see the pictures that you take, (which are top notch) or see the games that you might play (although the promised speed and screen refresh rate is NOT as promised) then you really NEED the 10XL.
I can't recommend the pixel 10. It's just too small of a screen and currently the software is buggy forcing you to completely turn off and restart your phone. In addition and let's be honest 256 GB memory is not half the memory that a modern phone really truly needs.
Battery life is miserable! If you are working all day you WILL need to charge before 5pm. So make sure you budget in a magnetic battery charger in addition to the budget for a quality clear phone protector.

Nice phone. Got it to replace a Pixel 7. Super easy to transfer everything to the new phone. Looks the same so using it was friction free. Fingerprint reader is much better now. AI photo help takes getting used to but seems like a good addition.

The phone is so good. I love the color. Only thing bad is that the pick up date was moved but worth the wait

Even after watching all the reviews and comparisons to other devices like the Pixel 9 or the iPhone comparison to something with similar interal specifications.
I couldn't be happier. I walked in expecting to just get the Pixel 9 but at the end convinced myself for the better

Love my google pixel 10! The Google Pixel 10 has been amazing for me. It’s fast, the camera takes beautiful pictures and the battery easily lasts all day. The phone feels great in my hand and the screen is super clear. Definitely my favorite phone so far!

Here’s a detailed review of the Google Pixel 10 — one of the most talked-about Android phones of 2025. It combines Google’s AI smarts, clean software experience, and dependable hardware — but it isn’t without a few compromises.

This phone is the best!! I really like! I was torn between this and the pro! After hearing how the pro glitches, went with this one! It’s been perfect! Highly recommend!
